Maria: I heard Matthew shouting, calling for me. I groaned and rolled over. "Mark, wake up," I said. "Matthew's calling us." The door to our room slammed open and Matthew walked in. I sat up wearily. "Shush, honey, you'll wake up Maya and Michael."

Maria: "What?" I clicked on the light next to me so I could see Matthew better.

Matthew: "He snuck out!"

Maria: "How do you know?"

Michael: I checked back to my house for the first time in a while to see if anyone was awake. I saw the light was on in my parents' room and I began to panic. "Oh no, they're awake!"

((Gotsta go after this. ))

Maria: "Are you sure? It doesn't sound like something they would do."

Michael: "Yeah, probably. I have to get back before they see I'm gone. I'll talk to you later. Bye!" I stood up and quickly - but quietly - ran back to my yard. I had to climb in my window before my parents saw my empty bed.

((Psst...hey, I wanna have Michael lose that rock on the run back, but he doesn't realize that till he checks his pockets in a little while, so can Lena like find it in the grass or something? xD))

Matthew: I shrugged. "I know what I saw. If you don't believe me why don't you go check?"

Lena: "Bye," I said, running back to my own house and sneaking back in the front door.

Maria: "Ok, let's go." I couldn't see the Ericsons' yard from my window, so I started heading to Michael's room downstairs to see if he was there or not.

Michael: I saw the lights turn on one by one, making a path downstairs, most likely toward my room. I got under my window and stepped up on the small stepladder my mom left there from when she was washing the windows yesterday. I crawled up onto the windowsill, but my shoe fell off. There was no time to get it, so I had to finish my climb barefoot.

((Is he gonna get caught?))

Lena: I quickly crept into my room and closed the door softly behind me. I snuck over to my window - which, conveniently, faced the Masons' house, and more specifically, Michael's window - and watched, ready to duck below the sill and/or dive back into bed at any moment.

((Hoooow abooooout....he makes it in his room, but the next day his mom goes outside and finds his shoe then realizes Matthew was right? xD I'ma have him arrive safely now. ))

Michael: Swiftly, I hopped over the window sill into my room, and quickly shut my window till only a crack was open. If my mom asked about it in the morning, I could use the excuse I wanted fresh air. I threw my other shoe under my bed and climbed under the covers, making it look like I'd been asleep there all night. Just as I closed my eyes, I heard the door open.

Maria: I peeked into Michael's room with Matthew right behind me. He was safe in bed, sound asleep. "Your brother is right there, Matthew," I whispered.

(Kk. )

Matthew: "But - b - but - but I saw him! He was right outside, on the Ericsons' lawn, with Lena!"

Michael: I didn't know how to answer since I she wouldn't hear me if I talked. I ended up giving a thumbs up sign, hoping she'd understand what I meant.

Lena: I gave him a thumb's up back, so he'd know I understood. I glanced around and grabbed a large sketch pad and a marker, scribbling down the words "See you tomorrow" and holding them up so he could see.

(-starts humming "You Belong With Me"- xD)

Michael: I smiled and found a pad of paper and a marker so I could reply. I wrote "Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite! (;" then held it up for her to see.
