Smiley Face

It's just a silly poem. I wrote it in like five minutes



Your smiley face
Is bright and yellow
A happy face
Is a nice hello

But that great big smile
Is painted on
It isn't real
If it could, it'd be gone

It's nice to see
But I know the truth
A smiley face can't help
But smile at you

I start to frown
'Cause it makes me sad
The smiley face doesn't mean it
It's just too bad

Well, it's good to know
That the person who sent it
Might really be smiling
If only a little bit
