I rolled my eyes "Durr, your wrist. What's wrong?" Without waiting for and answer, I darted forwards and took her wrist gently, feeling the bones. I frowned, there was something odd going on here. I felt her forearm, the pulse was normal, but in her wrist, it was beating irregularly. Okay, nix that, it had a rhythm, I knew it, I just couldn't place it.

I snarled at Alex "I'm holding her wrist, fool. You want me to accidentally injure her from your clumsiness?" I kicked him out of the way.
