I frowned, trying to keep my focus on this. "I have to take you back. Present-day though..." Laying Alexis' wrist gently on the table, I peeled my ring off and threw it at the windows. Expanding, the portal glowed and suddenly, you could see the view of the kingdom enlarge in the portal.

They were just friends,in his mind anyway.
"Whats up?"
"Mum wants to see you,as soon as you can come over."He said,glancing at Tyson.He'd disliked him as soon as he had seen him talking to her.Luke didn't know why though.This was an entirely new feeling to him.
"K' I'll be there around five-ish,okay?"
He nodded,and left.

I smiled "Whatever they do to you, I promise they won't hurt you." Whirling around and facing Alex, my features elongated. Human eyes narrowed and slanted. My features turned sharper, and my ears lengthened. Taller and stronger, I bared my needle-sharp teeth in a vicious smile. "My kind."

I stepped back instintivly. "I'm still going." I insisted.
"Let it go Alex. Just let me go." I winced slightly, adn leaned into Meluu's ear. "Just run now while he can't follow."

I nodded, imperceptibly to Alexis. Turning back to Alex "Oh no you're not." I flung my hand outwards, and spears of ice started pinpointing his the various pattern of nerves along his body. "Come on." I picked Alexis up and hurtled through the portal, closing it as I went.

Tyson was reading Luke the whole time. Some parts made him laugh, cry, or shiver.
"I gueuss I'll see you around, Luke." He said Luke with a touch of scorn, only a psionic could tell. He started feeling hurt inside, he didn't know why, but he must've done something wrong, and developed. . . He couldn't say it, because thinking was like talking for a psionic. Maybe he actually developed feelings for this girl? How?. . . The reason for the hurt was that Mea was apparently liking Luke better than Tyson. . .
