Rain (in writing)

Maturity: Um. Let's say PG-13? XD Suicideness/emoness stuff, even though I swear to God that that part isn't based on my real feelings.
Fantasy: None.

So fed up, I insist.
Staring longingly at sharpened knives.
In my heart, a constant distress,
But never brave enough to end the pain.

Then you come in, and my eyes mist.
I turn away, hoping for ends to the lies.
You get irked if I’m even stressed,
And I get so much blame . . .

And, it rains.

Tears fall; they make things worse.
You shout at me for my damp eyes.
I stay silent, looking down;
I take it all in silence.

I wish for, the end of the hurt.
Please, dear Jesus, take me up to the skies.
I don’t want her ever to be around;
Send her away, on the other side of a fence . . .

But it still rains.
