Gwen beamed.
"Alright, I'll let you know," she giggled. She pushed back a lock of her brown hair and her eyes still twinkled.

Gwen looked around.
"Wanna go for a walk outside the grounds? Like, by the lake? I'm bored and have nothing to do," she said in a quite bored tone of voice.

"Yes I'd be happy to." Sam said truthfully. He slipped his wand into his pocket and stared at the dancing flames in the fireplace.

Gwen smiled and crawled out the Portrait, looking around. She turned right, then jogged down the corridor, making very little noise.

My gaze turned back to the leaf in my hands. I brushed my bangs out of my face, wishing I'd worn my cap.

Sam trotted right beside Gwen, not making a single sound. He motioned for her to stop. He pointed to the nearest door and turned the handle. He pointed for her to go in first. A teacher was about to turn the corner.

Gwen nodded, the twinkle gone from her eyes. She slipped in, it was a small broom cupboard. She made room for Sam, and motioned for him to come in.

He shut the door without a noise and didn't breathe. He saw a shadow of a professor walking by slowly, not suspecting a thing.

Gwen looked over his shoulder, her breathing silent and she stood, quite still, against the wall f the cupboard.
"He's heading for Gryffindor Tower," she breathed in his ear.

I opened my hand, releasing the leaf to the light breeze. It drifted away, floating in midair. I watched it until I couldn't see it anymore.

Gwen shrugged and slid down against the wall, coming to a sitting position. She placed her arms on her knees and rested her head on her arms. A small yawn escaped her lips.
