Sam walked down the steps from the boys dormitory and yawned. It was late and he wanted to get into a bigger space.

Gwen jumped as she heard someone, and spun around.
"Hi!" she said, color flooding her face. She smiled warmly, and walked over to a comfy chair, plopping down. "I didn't know anyone was still awake."
