I nodded, then tilted my head, looking at the cieling. This was my way of thinking. "Then we take the lady friend hostage, somehow let the king find out, and he would probably care. If he acts like he doesn't, we kill her and he has no way of hurting the queen. Then we can maybe take the Queen hostage, yet not hurt her or be mean whatsoever. The King will be forced to act considering his citizens will expect him to. Then we threaten to kill the Queen unless he listens to you. After that you can explain to him how much army we are losing." I explained my plan carefully.

Koln thought the plan over. He then spoke up. "Sounds like we could pull it off . . . what is the downside?" he inquired.

"NO!!!" Koln barked, emitting a snarl . . . his yellow eyes blazing.
He realized he'd just yelled at Dawn, so Koln sunk back into his chair, and took a moment to regain his composure.

I jumped when he yelled, sinking into my chair to look small before I spoke. "Don't worry, we won't really kill her. We will make the King think we did."

Koln didn't reply, he was breathing heavily. When he felt it was the appropriate time to speak, he asked, "When do you think we should start?"

Koln frowned. "Quixerra." he hissed, even her name disgusted him . . . everything about this female disgusted him.
He relaxed his face. "I'll bring you to her. She's at the castle . . . probably with the King."
Koln walked over to the coat rack, picked up his black tricorne hat and placed it on his head, over his ears. He looked back at Dawn, "Well, are you coming, or not?"

[ BTW, "Quixerra" is pronounced "Key-hair-ah" . . . ]

The equariz rolled to the ground, and Dusk leapt away just in time to not get squished. He shot out one clawed paw, and manadged to scratch the creature's belly, before it was on its hooves again.

Excalibur dodged and jumped on the Equiarz, pinning it down with her large feline paws. The Equiarz's heavy armor aided her in keeping the beast down.
With her jaws, she dug her teeth into the creature's neck, in hopes of letting it bleed to death.

I nodded and ducked my head as I went through the door. Koln was such a gentleman. It was hard to find people like that out in the forest.

Koln followed Dawn, and locked the front door behind them. He tipped his tricorne hat forward to shade his eyes from the midday sun.
"Alright, off we go, love." he said, trotting down the wet black cobblestone road, filled with street merchants and city folk. The air smelled of the sea, and a slight wind kept the spring air fresh.

"The castle isn't far from here." Koln stated, looking towards one of the high towers peeking over the village horizon.

Description of Appearence: She is a huge tiger-looking creature, with large dark brown wings streatching 15 feet from tip to tip. She is a tora-ge color (white circles above her eyes, white chest, white paws, white muzzle, white stomach, and white under her tail and on her hindquarters) and her main color is silver. Her eyes are dark blue. The underside of her wings is a golden yellow.
Description of Personality: She is an extremely dangerous creature to be around, seeing that she stalks others like prey and can be virtually silent. She is spiteful and mean to others. When she isn't fighting, killing, or hunting, she is watching her territory like an eagle, waiting for some hapless creature to wander into its death. Many have tried to kill her but have failed.

I followed Koln happily, smelling the fresh sea breeze and feeling the wind against my fur. We walked past lots of people, and eventually two wolfgon friends. One was speaking, one had a mouth full of water. The one who spoke must have said something funny, because the other spit out a mouthful of water with laughter. I felt the water hit me, and stick to my fur, so I instinctively looked down and shook my body, making the water fly in all directions and laughing when it hit Koln.

Koln chuckled. "Hey!" he declared, giving her a light shove.
The wolfgon who had spewed water spoke to Dawn. "Sorry 'bout that, love!" he apologized, still laughing.
Koln replied for Dawn. "Don't worry about it, mate." He grinned playfully at Dawn and the two wolfgons. "There's nothing wrong with a little laughter and a little fun."

"Perhaps you'll join us in a game of poker then?" the other wolfgon asked.

Koln chortled. "Not today, mate. Not today." he replied, slowly walking away.

I looked over at Koln and gave him a grateful smile as we walked along. I owed him a thank you for speaking for me, and imagined the look on the other wolfgons faces when they heard my accent.
