Tim groaned and stood. "Hope!" he shouted, running after her. "Stop! Please, stop!" He didn't want her to do anything stupid. Warren was already in a horrible state, and the last thing he needed was for Hope to die.

Jami sighed deeply and leaned against the wall. "Right, not doesn't care. More like hates my guts and thinks I'm a...pig." He looked at his feet. Okay, maybe he could act that way. Did that mean it's what Jami was really like? No, of course not. If things hadn't happened like they had so long ago--all the times he was tormented as a child by bigger, stronger kids--then he'd probably be, well, like Tim.

Tim sighed. "Hope, common, stop that," he said, shaking his head. "Look--no one's mad at you. He can be mad at me--what happened is my fault. But...it's...it's not going to happen again. Warren will get over it. Things'll go back to normal."

Cassie stopped, facing him and looked down at her crossed arms. Her right hand clung to her shoes as she spoke, "I said that a lot, huh? Well... that's how I act, I acted that way to Alex when I first hung around him. You and I never talk more than a few seconds and when we have a lengthy conversation I'm either going on half an hour of sleep or the Terror Twins payed me a visit." She was trying to think of a good excuse.

Lizzie followed after, floating through the air just behind Hope. She couldn't do anything and she felt almost terrible for that but a part of her almost wanted Hope dead... the bitter part of her... the part that was mad at Tim but the other side wanted to save Hope.

Well... that's how I act, I acted that way to Alex when I first hung
around him. You and I never talk more than a few seconds and when we

Really, I don't feel like hearing how much you love him." He was started to get annoyed and was sure she hated him.

Hope, however, was a very fast runner and she kept running, keeping on until she got to the deck and jumped..but something happened. She jumped into the shallow end and hit her head on a rock, causing Hope to float on the top with her hair around her, purple dress now soaked, and knocked out.

Tim's eyes went wide. He stumbled to a stop, stunned. What had happened? He wadded in and picked her up, splashing out and to the shore. He lay her down and shook her. "Hope?" he said, looking worried. "Hope? Hope, wake up!"

Hope was still uncounscious, laying there on the shore with her eyes closed and mouth open. She was paler then normal, and she coughed, a bit of scarlet coming out of her mouth.

"Macking on your brother?!" she looked disgusted and rolled her eyes in an impatient kind of way. "You need to get your eyes checked I swear! I'm no more 'mackin' on Alex than I am you. I don't like him like that," it wasn't a complete lie. "We're good friends. That's it and I'll be honest. For awhile I was crushing on one of the Vandal twins who happens to be a year older than I am. Actually I've insulted him many time before but right now if this is what he's reduced to," she guestered to him with her hand. "I'm better off single, huh?" With a completely relaxed air she turned and began to walk off.

Hope just lay in his arms, coughing against as he eyes sarted to flutter open. She hadn't hit her head hard enough to kill her, just knock her out and bruise her head baddly, possibly an internal injury.

Cassandra bursted out laughing and kept walking on with a surpressed grin, "Of course I remember. I told you that less than twenty-four hours ago." She slowed down slightly so he was alongside of her. "But don't think this changes anything in the slightest bit. My keyword was 'was crushing'."
