Mariah smiled, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, "Thanks," She responded, "You look handsome." She complimented in return. "You want to dance?" She asked, looking hopeful.

Celeste asked him, "Where are we going, Ace?" A look of innocent curiosity came over her features.

Alissa smiled, and rested her head on his chest as the slow song began to play, a small smile tugging on the corners of her mouth.

"The ball" he said, kissing her forehead

Seth smiled, both of his hands on her hips as they danced. He wasn't as nervous now, and his normal color had returned

Ace led hear to the where the ball was, his fingers interlocking hers.

He smiled "Its okay. Mine to" He kissed her forehead as a slow song began to play and he started to dance with her

"Crap" Noah muttered as the slow song came on. He stood infront of Taylor "I ugh..don't really know what to do" he said, smiling sheepishly.

Taylor felt herself blushing a bit and laughed, "Makes two of us," she said eyeing her shoes; sneakers. "I mean we're just friends so... but... awkward," she laughed nervously.

(DL and Surfeh, Can Carly join in with Danny and Gwen, for like, just a few minutes? I want him to annoy his brother )

(he is) Derrick stood quietly against the wall in a grey dress shirt that was untucked and hung slightly over his black dress pants. His twin sister had forced him to come that evening and it was going to be an intereting evening.

Celeste blushed, stuttering--mind you, she stutters when she's nervous, "O-O-Oh, but I don't know how t-to dance well," She admitted, looking a bit sheepish.

"You know, how bout we just go get some punch?" He asked, his mouth feeling dry. This was so awkward it wasn't funny (Except to me xD)

"Don't worry, we don't have to if you don't want to" He said "We don't even have to go"

Greg grinned at her, "Thanks," he said to her first comment. To her last he snorted. "Do you want black and blue toes?" he responded.

Gwen blushed horribly. "Hazel told you that?" she asked weakly, her eyes wide in what seemed to be a mix of embarrassment and fear. She nodded to the last thing he said and took mental note not to get on the twins' bad side.


Liz smiled at him before resting her head against his chest. "I like this song," she murmured, still smiling.


Tim chuckled, "I agree completely," he said with a grin. Then his grin faded and he sighed. "I dunno," he said with a shrug. "I haven't seen her since like yesterday."

Jami raised an eyebrow. "Don't you--?"

"No."

My checks got as red as my dress. I took the rose and held it, "Thanks," I said, stunned again.

She grinned, and replied in a 'proper tone', "Sounds lovely."

(and me! xD) "Yeah, why don't we do that," she said walking past him towards the punch table. She felt warm all over and exceptionally embarrassed, a way she hadn't felt in years. And it was not a welcomed feeling.

Ever paced around the room where the ball was held, chewing on her bottom lip nervously. She felt very out of place. Her only comfort was the little dragon who was trailing behind her.

Derrick looked up to see a girl around his age and he walked over, "Evening," he smiled serenly at her.

David smiled and nodded along to what she said, "Yeah. It's nice." He mentally kicked himseld. 'Nice? Wow... Lame!'


Lauren laughed and listened to what Tim said calmly but could feel the awkwardness of it but then James spoke. "'Don't you' what?" she asked curiously. Even Cassie retreated from the safety of the fan to listen to them all.

Carly was suddenly standing by Danny and Gwen "Who ar' you?" He asked, looking at her with a tilt of his head.

Ace smiled "Okay" he said, leading her towards it again.

"So uh, should we go to the dance now?" He asked

Mariah's face brightened, and she nodded, "Would you?" She asked hopefully, looking almost like a lovesick puppy.

Gwen blushed again, even worse than the last time. "Normally Hazel's my partner in crime, so to speak, but I guess I can't trust her now." She sighed a little and then Carly was there. She smiled, "Uhm, I'm Gwen. Who're you?" she asked, slightly confused and guessing this was one of Danny's brothers.


Liz giggled a little, thinking the same thing. [xD] "You're a pretty good dancer for a guitar teacher," she noted with another giggle.


The twins exchanged hard glances. "Nothing."

"Nope, no sign of her" He said, looking around "This kid better treat her nice or I'll..." He clenched his fist.

Mariah's face brightened, looking happy again. She took his hand in her own, pale one, and stood up, "Come on, then, and I'll teach you."
