"Jami!!!!" Casey cried, running towards her brothers room

"Ouch" David said sitting down. He'd get alot more and he knew it and wait, how did she know he tried to murder Noah?

Noah was still at the dock, clearly happier now and moveing his hands in the water. He was happy Heather and David were over with, Heather deserved better (HE secretly thought better was him) but he wouldn't say he liked her..not yet. That is, unless Padfoot let it slip.

(Wait... Can Padfoot let it slip then? *hopeful smile*)

Jami moaned. "Go away, I'm sleeping," he called.

"We're sleeping, you mean,"

"Whatever, sleeping is in process, bug off, Case."

I walked swiftly down the hallway. About a quarter of the way to Padfoot's room I started to cry. Half way there I felt the pain from my split and bleeding knuckles and cried harder. By the time I got to Paddie's room I was hysterical and barely knocked on her door.

"Please let me in!" it was clear she was crying by the way her voice was shaking

Jami didn't like it when he heard his sisters cry. At all. He tumbled out of bed and opened the door. "What's wrong?" he asked.

Casey hugged him and babbled out everything that happened (I don't feel like really typing that up...xD)

Padfoot nearly leapt off the bed and ran to to door, "Moony? What's wrong?" she threw open the door. Gingerly she helped Moony into her room, helped Moony sit on the bed, and ran to the minifridge in the corner. She was a sight; running around the room like a chicken with her head cut off, barely a blur of bubble-gum pink hair. "Want something to drink?" she asked tossing her friend a chocolate bar. "Eat it."

(*Cheers* Yes! Well, I might if Moony says anything...)

{That's okay, I don't feel like rereading it. xD}

Jami hugged her tight and stroked her hair. "It's okay, Case," he said, staring out the door; his expression hardened.

Tim was up by now, hugging Casey too. "We'll take care of him,"

They said as one, "We promise."

For once I pushed away the chocolate bar. Now, this is a once in a life time thing, people! My second love is chocolate; I NEVER push it away. So when I do, you KNOW that something's wrong with me. I managed to choke out what had happened between sobs, ever other sentence I'd say sorry, and at the end I held up my throbbing hand. The knuckles were swollen and bloodied and it hurt like anything.

Padfoot nearly ran into the closet door when she'd pushed the chocolate away. After that, she'd sat down and listened to her speak, "He... What? I swear I'm gonna... He's..." She was on her feet once again but heading for her drawers. A few moment later she was placing a brown liquid on her knuckles, "It'll burn a bit. It's betadyne. It'll clean the cut." (Right? She got cut too?)

Casey was like a midget compared to the two, only coming around to thier chest, but was comforted even more by this "O-Okay.." She said, rubbing her eyes.

{Yeah, her knuckles split. }

"Ow," I whimpered, staring down at my knuckles. My entire slight frame was shaking, and I was still crying. "I wouldn't've punched him if I knew it was gonna hurt me this bad..."

Jami kissed the top of her head, and so did Tim. "Where's his room?" they asked, doing everything simultaneously.

Taylor let a doggish grin pass over her incredibly pale face, "I would have if I'd been you." She placed neosporin and guaze over the cut. "I don't know whether to be mad or proud... Not mad at you, at him but... I'm so proud of you," she hugged Moony. "You decked a guy! I'm so proud of you!" she fanned her face as if she were going to cry.

Casey slowly raised a hand and pointed towards David's room, which door was shut.

David was inside, on his bed, his face red from where HEather had hit him three times, but he didn't seem fased.

Taylor nodded then her face got wide, "He did what?!" she let her jaw drop and she glared at the wall opposite of her as if she were striking him dead through it. "He tried to kill Noah?! How? When? Where was I? Why am I just being notified of this occuring?"

"A while ago. When they were little." I said quietly. "I found Noah by the lake this morning and he told me." I explained what he had said (because DL didn't feel like writing it/didn't completely remember) even more softly, tears slipping down my cheeks. Afterwords, my stomach churned so violently that I groaned. "I feel like I'm gonna barf."

Jami ruffled her hair and he and Tim were soon standing outside, knocking on the door.

(I gotta go guys! BBL!)

Taylor was on her feet pacing back and forth across the fllor. "I get it now! It wasn't just that... He didn't like him cause he tried to kill him. Well, makes sense," she was partially talking to herself and to Moony. "I swear if Corie or Noah doesn't get to him first I'm going to cave his face in..."

"Wear boxing gloves if you do," I said with a knowing kinda of nod. "His cheekbones are as hard as rocks." Then I paused and began gagging. "Do you have any like mouthwash? I can't believe I macked on a guy who tried to murder my best friend."

(SERIOUSLY?! Only 100 pages? Daaaang! Alrighty, but... *whines*)

Taylor laughed and looked in her first aid kit. "Actually it's in the bathrom. Nah... I won't need boxing gloves; I don't have your soft skin. Well, I mean most dumpsters lack nice shampoos and lotions like hotels and most homes." Her tone was playful as she stood up, "Agreed, and he also made you doubt said best friend/ friends."

I stood and walked into her bathroom. Finding some mouthwash, I happily poured myself a mouthful and swished. "Bleh. I am never kissing another boy ever, ever again," I spat, making a face, "Not unless the police say they don't have a rap sheet or something." With a shake of my head, I walked back into the room. "Yeah, I know. I shouldn't have doubted you guys. I'm sorry. I'm a real sucky friend."

Taylor watched, a knowing smile played across her sunken face, "That'll make my life easier for awhile but not everyone's life easier." She looked up and laughed, "Great thing that doesn't apply for friends too, huh?" she winked then shrugged it off. "Hey, love is blind; what can I say? You got too caught up with him to see what was going on. We forgive you though."
