My double vision went away, and I gathered myself back together. When I opened my eyes, I awoke to find a girl. "Hello..." She said smoothly. "Hey," I said, sputtering. "Where am I?" I looked around. Did I die? I thought.

"No, you did not die," I crossed my arms with a smirk. That smirk quickly disappeared. "Brightfield... you fell down a waterfall. Don't worry, you're fine," I put my hand back on my hips. I hate having to explain this waterfall thing.

"I told you once, you're not dead! God, do you not believe me?" I frowned, wanting to slap this new guy. I gave a scornful sigh. He felt confusion, I was sure. Unless my power wasn't working. "You fell down a waterfall, you're here. Period," If he didn't get this, I would have go against nature and change his mood.

I stood up, although I was still dizzy. "What's your problem?! I just fell down a huge waterfall, have no clue where Brightfield is, have no clue who you are, and why you can read my mind, and your treating me like this?! I don't tollerate people like this!" I took a step closer to her, staring her down.

"Shut up!" I snapped at him, thinking I should just leave. "If you know what I've been through, you wouldn't be talking. Now, I'm Emma," I put my arms to my side, trying, just trying, to soften up. I snapped my fingers, seeing if I could change his mood to graceful. It was worth a try, but I knew it wouldn't always work. "I'm Emma," I repeated. "You fell down a waterfall, now you should have been dead.." I paused for asecond. And I think I wish you were dead.. "But you've been given a chance to start your life over here at Brightfield. Make a living here. Build a house, get married, and all that crap. This is almost just like the normal world. And also, you've been granted a power, maybe two," I put my hands back on my hips, waiting for a reaction.

Suddenly, I felt a bit kinder, I don't know why, but I did. "Emma." I said silently. "Ok, Emma," I started. "Thank you for telling me what happened." I finished.

"And you are....?" I kinda wanted to tango with this new guy's mood. I knew not to over-do-it, because sometimes if I would say an emotion, it would be just the opposite. But I was just pushing it. With a snap of my finger I was wishing for a sad mood. I know, I'm so rude.

I smiled and at the second, the clock made a dull ring. I glanced up and relized that it was already ten. "We should head to bed." I mumbled, sitting up and bringing my silky golden currled locks into a ponytail.
