"Darnit," I growled under my breath, as she slammed the door to her room. Walking to the front door, I stormed out and slammed it behind me. I walked off, wondering why I always said the wrong thing. When I got home, Adam was just leaving.

"I was just going to Kristen's..." he briefly explained before I left. "Have fun," I yelled back, sarcastically. In the room, I leaned against the wall. Turning around, I punched it, which broke the dry wall. Putting my split knuckles back into my pocket, fell asleep on my bed.

"Oh, cool," I nodded, remembering Matt. He was a good kid. "Don't know, haven't seen her in a month or so," I sighed. I knew that was really bad and it made me sound worse, but I didn't even know if she was on the island anymore. "She's kept to herself a lot lately, I guess," I shrugged. That and I didn't have the time to check on her anymore.

I heard the door slam and I bowed my head, slumping down to the ground and felt tears fun down my cheeks, plopping onto the sandy carpet. I sniffed, drying my tears and glancing at the carpet, running my finger between every thread. I mumbled some nonsence to myself, standing up and walking downstairs, walking out of the house and headed towards the beach.

I opened my eyes, glancing up at the sky. I turned my head and saw Griffin. It was about eight in the morning. "Wake up," I said, nudging him with my toe.

I shrugged, but inside I felt a little bad for her. Though I was.. sorta the parent, so I guess that was natural for me. I took a bite the pizza, it was pretty good. "Thanks, for.. this." I smiled, then took my share of seaglass out of my pocket, going to pay for my own share.

Adam -

I was walking along the shoreline of the beach to Kristen's to give her an invitation to Rosie's party and to see what was up, when I saw Kristen walking towards the ocean.

Jogging to catch up with her, I noticed that the moon's reflection caught on her cheeks, indicating that she had been crying. "Hey, everything alright?" I asked, a concerned and worried look on my face. I knew her and Jack had their ups and downs, but had it ever been this bad?

"No problem, just thought it would be a good break from reality," I smiled my signature crooked smile. But then again, wasn't Brightfield one big break from reality? "If we ever get kicked off of the island again... Promise me that we'll find each okay, okay?" I asked, taking a bite of my pizza.

"We should get Blake," I said, sitting up and reaching for my robe, putting it on and kissing Griffin, walking to Blake's room and making sure she wasn't awake.
