"Uh-huh." he said, oddly. He noticed it getting much darker. His eyes turned bright gold, adjusting to the darkness. They almost seemed to glow in the light. "Are your parents going to get worried that you're out here, if they're there...?" he felt stupid asking that.

Jesse knew the word that almost spoke, even though it spoke itself. "I don't know..." he quickly answered back, getting away from the topic. He shoved his pale hands into his pockets. They were always cold. Like ice.

Jesse looked up, and saw a bat. He made a strange sound, and it landed on his arm. "Hello..." he said to it. "Kathy... This is my pet..." he said.

(Had to make it a bit weirder, or more interesting or something. LOL.)
