I dun have any anime to recommend for you, but there's this Korean drama called Full House. It has that same anime sense of humor, and it's just amazing. I guess it's best to not tell you the plot line so you have a lot of surprises, but it's a complicated romance that's both tragic and humorous. The female lead is an internet novelist, and it's really easy to love her because she's such a dork too. Then the male lead is a total jerk in every way, but he's irresistible. But if you don't go for the jerk type, you can always root for the nice male lead. Then there's the stupid childhood friend that goes and ruins everything... But regardless, it involves a contract marriage, and a complicated love triangle. Lovely lovely show overall.

Naruto! Try Naruto. SO MUCH ACTION.
And after Naruto ends(220 episodes) there's Naruto Shippuden. They're all 15-16 in that one.(they're all 12-13 in Naruto)
You should try Shugo Chara too. It's cute, but also has some action.
