The wolves of Viruarya-UPDATED

"That's good to hear. Let me ask you a question; it may be odd and awkward for you, but are you..evil?" Adriano asked. It was rather obvious she was, however, as she hadn't stayed with Alexia.

I slightly laughed. "I guess you could say that. Alexia said that I was and that I needed to find the Lower Coldwood pack. Any idea where I could find them?" I asked. I gave him the smile that I used on brutes to get what I wanted.

"Hmm, I think you found it, chickie," was Adriano's reply. "I am the alpha of Lower Coldwood."

I growled at him. "Let's get one thing straight. My name Fotia. Not chickie, or anything else. Either call me by my name, or don't talk to me at all. Got it?"

Leafe sighed and lied down, streatching out his left leg.

(Oh, and here's Fotia's pic. :3 I just got access to it today. The only thing that's wrong is her eyes. -_- They need to be a deep, alluring, warm and welcoming sapphire.)

"Okay, Fotia. So, would you like to join my pack? Or should I just leave..?" replied Adriano.

"Is it feeling any better?" Alexia asked Leafe, referring to his leg.

"A little," Leafe replied, studying the splint carefully.

"Good. I would ask if you were up for a swim, but you really shouldn't get that wet." Alexia flicked her tail towards the splint.

Leafe nodded, then cringed. "I..I don't really like water. I'm afraid...of water. Hydrophobia, the humans call it."

Alexia nodded, trying to suppress a laugh. Succeeding, thankfully, she asked, "Why? Did something..happen to make this fear appear?"

"Yes. When I was younger, living with my mother's husky pack, they drowned my mother and tried to drown me. They pushed me under the water and kept me there. It was so cold and dark...but I bit the dog that was holding me and so I escaped."

Alexia nodded. "I understand," was her reply. "No offense, but I wouldn't try to drown you if we went swimming, Leafe."

"I know, I'm not afraid of you. Just the water."

I smiled again. "I'll join if you don't mind."

Alexia nodded. Of course she understood. "I..I have to admit, I have a phobia of fire..Pyrophobia, the two-leggeds call it."

Adriano grinned. "Awesome," he replied, beginning to lead the way back to camp.

"Pyrophobia...I had a lot of friends that had that. A lot of wolves and dogs are naturally afraid of fire."

I smiled as I followed him. Well that was easy.

Alexia nodded. "I suppose," she replied, nodding. She had thought that she was among only a few. She sighed, thinking of Adriano whom had fearlessly jumped through the flames that he had set upon the forest.

Adriano smiled slightly when he saw Callous still eating. He joined by his side and flicked his tail towards Fotia. "Callous, meet Fotia, our..well, almost newest member. She hasn't taken the test yet."

Leafe curled up and sighed. "Alexia...have you ever been in love before?"

"I have," Alexia replied. "It wasn't that long ago, to tell the truth," she said, sighing. "How about you, Leafe? Have you ever been in love?"

"Yes. I had a mate named Crow but..." he paused. "She died, having my pups."

"I'm sorry," Alexia replied, shuddering. She remembered Verde and tears sprung to her eyes. He had died in that wildfire that Adriano had caused. Maybe that's why she was a pyrophobic. "Why did you ask?"

"I was just curious." Leafe sighed and laid his head down on his paws. "I'm surprised no other wolf has asked you to be his mate yet. You're awfully attractive."
