Fotia laughed, laying down. "Just like my name implies, water and I haven't mixed since I was a pup." I shuddered at the memory of my brother and I almost drowning.

"At least bees can fly. You don't generally see flowers up in the air. Nope, they're rooted in the ground forever unless someone rips them off their stem." The words came out as a snarl, and her eyes shone with irritation. "Should I rip you off your stem, or will you just leave me alone?" Granted, he was the thorn and not the flower, but she wasn't paying attention anymore.

Fleta was suprised at the bear's sudden appearance, and remained rooted to the spot for a moment. When Casey-Ryan rushed in at the bear, she shook her head to clear her thoughts. Well, I can't just stand here and let him get killed! Gritting her teeth, Fleta leapt foward, clawing at the bear's ankles as it reared. It howled in pain, and was forced to land back on all fours.

"At least I'm lovely to look at, seeing as I suddenly turned from a thorn into a lovely flower," remarked Callous. He still had no idea why this fea was so irritated. They were just exchanging witty banter at this point; it wasn't like he was picking on her. Maybe she was just a naturally unfriendly wolf. Not that Callous thought wolves should be overly friendly and trusting- that idea sickened him- but even the most cold-hearted of creatures could laugh.

Adriano smiled at Fotia. "I see that," he replied, laughing along with her.

"I did. Thanks for asking, love," Alexia replied, smiling at him, her eyes bright. She licked his muzzle.

Casey-Ryan dug his claws into the bear's back. He clawed himself up to the beast's head and grabbed, yanking it back and cracking it's neck.

Leafe licked her back and wagged his tail. "I'm going to go hunt," he told her. "Would you like to come?"

Adriano grinned. He sure did catch a wild one. He raced after her, keeping a long, steady pace. He lengthened his strides and pulled ahead of Fotia.

Alexia nodded. "I would," she replied, briefly stretching. She let out a long yawn.

Fotia laughed and pushed her legs a little harder. She made them neck and neck before sticking her tongue out at Adriano and passing him.

Adriano chuckled as he kicked it into high-gear and thundered past her. He had soon entered the forest, and he smiled, breathing in the fresh air.

Fotia laughed and ran into the forest, stopping. She layed down and took a few deep breaths. "You're . . . Pretty . . . Fast," she half chuckled, half huffed.

Fotia smiled at Adriano. She looked up and saw a small pond of water. She pushed herself forward and took a drink.

Fotia rolled over onto her side and closed her eyes. "Wake me up when you're ready to go back," she mumbled before falling asleep.

Fotia woke up and stretched, noticing it was night time. She frowned when she saw that there were no stars in the sky; only the moon. She got up and trotted over to the water, staring at the reflection of herself and the moon over head.

"See?!" she snapped. "Do you never stop?" Poor Arashi just didn't seem to have it in her to be friendlier. It was the way she'd grown up; the more aggressive she was, the easier it was to come out on top, and she put authority way over having relationships with other wolves. But it was anyone's guess as to how she was letting herself be so weak if she was that fixated with being better than everyone else. "You're really something, you know that?"

The bear let out an ear-splitting roar, and shook Casey-Ryan off. To Fleta's immense relief, it seemed to have learned a lesson, and the broken, bleeding creature hobbled away.
"Thank you for helping me," panted Fleta, her muscles still tensed as if she were ready to pounce.

"There's something to be said for persistance and determination," Callous said casually. He flicked his tail and stretched out his front limbs, jaws gaping in a huge yawn. Now he was just getting bored; she was running out of funny responses now and was just acting harsh and aggressive. He was probably going to leave in the next few minutes to get something to eat anyway.
"You like to act tough, but you've spent an awful lot of time running away from me, a wolf who isn't even attacking or acting hostile."

Adriano stirred slightly, mumbling under his breath, his legs pumping in his sleep.

Fotia turned around and laughed when she saw Adriano's legs kicking in his sleep.

Fleta looked a little happier at the comment. She relaxed her muscles, and swished her tail gently. The peaceful moment was ruined when Fleta's stomach growled loudy.
"I never ate this morning," Fleta mumbled, feeling somewhat embarassed. "I'm starving after that race and fight...."
