The wolves of Viruarya-UPDATED

Adriano nodded, a smile curling his lips slightly. "Yeah.."

Fotia smiled. "Well, I can tell you right now that no matter how far away from you I'd be, I'd always find my way back." She blushed when she realized that she had just said aloud what was supposed to stay inside her head.

I grinned largely. "Are you sure?" I asked, looking at the slightly fat deer and licking my chops in hunger.

"Positive," Rand replied, before tearing off a limb and chomping into it.

Adriano blushed, and licked her muzzle, his nose twitching slightly.

I did the same and ate slowly, thankful he was sharing.

Fotia smiled and blushed, nuzzling him. "I think I love you," she said without thinking, looking down and biting her tongue.

Once he thought he had his fill, Rand sat back, belly swollen, and watched the fea feast.

"I..I think I love you, too," Adriano replied, smiling. He nuzzled her lovingly.

Fotia smiled and blushed, licking Adriano's muzzle. She chuckled and rested her head agaist his chest. "Alright, and on that note, now I know that I love you."

I finished eating daintily and sat up. All that was left of the deer was a skeleton, and I looked away with a frown. I hated seeing dead things. I looked to the other wolf. "Thanks." I said with a friendly smile. "I didn't catch your name?"

Adriano smiled, resting his head on top of hers, his eyes shutting in pure glee.

"Nor did I yours," Rand replied, looking at the beautiful fea, her eyes gleaming as she looked at him.

I felt heat rise to my cheeks when he looked at me with those large eyes, and found myself staring at the floor. "Shanayya." I replied, looking back up at him. "And you are...?"

"What a beautiful name for a beautiful she," Rand replied, grinning. "I am Rand," he told her.

Fotia smiled and closed her eyes, nuzzling him lovingly.

I blushed yet again, with a large smile. "And a handsome name for a handsome he," I replied politely. After looking him over, I realized that I had spoken the truth.

Adriano nuzzled her back, a smile laying on his face.

"Thank you, Miss. Shanayya," Rand replied, smiling.

Fotia smiled and closed her eyes, falling asleep.

Adriano drifted into sweet slumber, as well, his eyes fluttering closed and his breaths slowing.

Fotia slowly slid to the ground, naturally curling up in her sleep.

Fotia woke up and stretched. She trotted out of her den and quickly came back in sighing. "Great," she muttered. "Still raining." She shook herself dry and curled up in a warm corner.

I woke at my stomach. It felt like it was eating itself. I would have to go hunt in the rain. I left without telling anyone. I would only be gone for a bit.

((Haha, oh my gosh, are all the wolfies flirting with each other? XD That's all I really saw for like the past ten pages! Haha, it was such a fun read. <3))

"Maybe you will," Arashi agreed, sniffing. "Then maybe, after her, you'll meet someone who doesn't run away with horror the moment she sees your ugly face!" She did feel sorry for whatever fea ended up catching this brute's eye . . . oi. If she was having a hard time getting rid of him now, she couldn't imagine what life would be like for that poor she-wolf. "I mean, really. You can't honestly expect anyone to like somebody so annoying." She narrowed her eyes, but had a feeling that not even this would really offend him. He was just too . . . ugh.

(( D'awh, Shadow, you're right x3 Then you look at Callous and Arashi.....xD))

Fleta nodded, then something dawned on her. "Say, do you live around here? This is my Pack's territory...."

Callous succesfully resisted the urge to laugh. Oh, now she really was falling behind on the comebacks. He sighed. It was probably time to leave her alone and find something worthwhile to do. This wolf was all talk and no action. Really, a fight wouldn't really be too bad; it'd be something to do, at least. But she hadn't even laid a claw on him.
"On that same note, I'm not sure anyone would like someone so uncreative and hostile. But then again, what would this big, scary she-wolf care about other wolves' opinions?" he remarked.

((Haha, yes! xDD I think it adds just the perfect amount of balance, don't you? I just feel kinda bad for Arashi, though. Cus I mean, she thinks she's pretty cool . . . and all Callous is doing is showing her otherwise . . . poor girl. xD))

"Whoever said we were talking about anyone of the sort?" she asked, and finally she managed a genuine smirk. "The she-wolf in question, she seems more like a naive little fea to me. Can't be more than a pup . . . always under the influence of peer pressure . . . and of course she'd fall for the first wolf who gave her the time of day, because the desperate sort of freak she really is. That's who you're going to end up with someday, because no self-respecting fea would ever honestly choose you." She paused for a moment to glare at him. "Then that she-wolf, after she's been with you for a while and realizes what a horrible wolf she picked, she'll leave too. Everyone'll leave you in the end, just you wait."

(( Oh, Callous was just making a few corny jokes in the begining, then Arashi didn't find him amusing so it turned into this. Dx What a mess. Callous usually isn't like this, anyway. I just don't know how to get him out...! hdkjfhskjdhfkjds Any chance we could, like, reset this conversation? xD ))

"You know, for hating my guts, you sure spend an awful lot of time talking with me," Callous said. He was about to leave, but then she smiled. Oh, it was a nasty, tiny smirk, yes. But it was really quite nice for Callous to see that crude, harsh face lighten up. Maybe she did have some emotion in her after all. Callous stayed where he was. But if everyone leaves me, I'll just find new wolves....Does she really think that would bother me?
