The wolves of Viruarya-UPDATED

Arashi tilted her head, the smirk disappearing into a pure scowl. Awful lot of time talking to him, huh? Well, it's not like he really gave me a choice.

"Look, what do you want with me, anyway?" she grumbled. It was probably the least aggressive thing she'd said to him so far. "Why can't you go bother somebody else? Like an Upper Coldwood wolf, maybe?" Her upper lip twitched slightly.

((Oh, manipulation. xD Callous wouldn't care if I did that. He's s'posed to be apathetic to everything. I made him that way x3 ))

"And so we finally arrive at the root of the problem," snapped Callous, as if he'd been waiting for her to ask that. Whatever inkling of satisfaction he felt was gone now, as Arashi's scowl had returned. I'm done wasting my time, he thought, lashing his tail.
"Well, I guess you'll never know, will you? I'm off to go hunt. My stomach's a tad more important than you right now," he told her, turning around the face the woods.

"Thank you, Miss. Shanayya," Rand replied, smiling.

"Your welcome, Rand." I said, then looked around for something to do. "Would you like to go for a swim?"

After hunting alone for almost a hour I finally saw a deer. I raced after it and grabed with my teeth. I was too hungery to take it back to the others so I ate it where I grabed it. After I was done I felt bad for not sharing with the others. I was such a pig!

Adriano grinned at Fotia, then rested his eyes once more.

"Well, kind of..I'm a loner," Casey-Ryan replied.

"Sure," Rand replied, smiling. "There's a lake not far from here."

"Okay." I said with a grin. "You lead the way?"

"Surely so," Rand replied, smiling at the fea. He trotted until the lake came into view, then he began at a sprint.

I smiled back at him and followed close behind him. When he began sprinting, I did the same and urged my legs to gain speed. Eventually, I was almost surpassing him. I was a paw's length behind him. I kept going, but ran right into the water. I swam to the surface, spitting out water as I laughed.

Rand laughed, as well, and jumped into the water. He came back up and began doggy-paddling around Shanayya.

Fotia felt someone watching her. She instinctively jumped up, turning around and growling, hackles raised.

I kept turning as he swam around me, still laughing. I splashed him with my front paws and then ducked underneath the water, coming up underneath him. I lifted him into the air with another laugh and watched him splash back into the water.

"What?" Adriano asked, standing when he heard her growl.

Rand smiled, dipping under the water and coming up under Shanayya, as she had just done to him

Fotia smiled. "Sorry. Old habit." She stretched and trotted over towards Adriano, laying down beside him and closing her eyes.

I laughed as I flew into the air and splashed back into the water. After swimming around a bit with him I crawled to the shore and laid in the sun, rolling around in the grass.

"Oh," Adriano nodded and smiled when she decided to lay with him. "Okay."

Rand sighed when she got out, swam for a little longer, then got out himself, only to join her on shore.

Fotia smiled and opened one eye to peer at him. "And once again, it's raining so hard outside that I can't even see my nose," she said, being completelt serious. She was still shivering from how cold it had been outside.

"I love a good swim on a hot day." I said with a grin, sitting up and looking at the beaming sun.

Adriano wrapped around the fea, noticing her shivers.

"Aye," Rand replied, agreeing.

I looked over at him, examining his fur and his looks and such. I noticed he was quite handsome, but quickly looked away when I realized I had been staring.

Fotia smiled and blushed when the brute wrapped himseld around her. "You're really warm," she murmured.

Rand looked just in time to see Shanayya looking away. He shrugged, then stood up, stretching out his back.

"You're really cold," Adriano answered, smiling lightly.

I stood up as well and stretched before shaking my fur out in his direction with a smile.

Fotia chuckled. "I've been told so," she said, referring to when most wolves tell her she's cold-hearted.

Rand was dappled with water from her coat, so he shook out his back at her, his black fur sticking up in odd directions.
