It's amazingly how quickly I can go from super-happy to being in a horribly bad mood.

But let's not talk about that.

Let's talk about my sister's birthday.

She's turning 9 today. Well, she's already nine. Yayyyy. I was in a word war and I didn't get to come and sing happy birthday to her. So yeah, I was sorta mad about that.

I gave her, like, some stickers and paintbrushes. Which my mom bought for her and told me to give to her, but whatever. 20 kids came to her birthday party, which makes me sorta jealous. Usually the most I get at mine is two, because I get to have my birthday right in the middle of summer.

Yay.

I knew I should have stopped procrastinating and done this blog early, 'cause now I'm in a really really crappy mood but I still have to do it.

Oh wellll.

Moving on.

I have like 12k words on my TwigWriSum story. It's boring; I hate it; well, that isn't anything new. I guess I'll just push through it and stop at 50k words, you know? Ugh. I'm not enjoying TwigWriSum.

Sure, it's a goal. And I know it's fun to achieve goals.

But how are 250k words going to be that special?

I've written 201k in a month. That was fun.

I also edited for 50 hours in a month, and wrote 100 pages of script in a month. Were either of those fun? No, I hated them. Did I feel accomplished after I got to my goals? No, not at all. I just felt relieved for having finished.

Which leads me to hypothesize that I will not be happy when I get to my goal. That's sure a great way to motivate yourself, right?

PixelPuppy hasn't loaded for me since Tuesday. >.> I haven't been able to put TwigAdopts pets up, or see any of the wordcount widgets, and I haven't been able to talk to Wow and Kitty and Jen on the secret forums.

*sigh* At least they're on WI.

I think I need another obsession. Like, anime obsession. DN is cool but I'm beginning to get bored of it. All the cool characters are claimed and, well, it's getting overhyped.

*holds hands up* Don't kill me. Please.

And then Ouran High School Host Club was fun to watch, but… well, I can't stay obsessed with something for long. I must admit, I liked that.

I didn't like the first two episodes of Bleach, and Code Geass got boring after the first 25 episodes. Something weird happened and time went back or something and then it was like all started over again. Or something.

It's weekend. Which means I should be like 'yayyyyy' or something, but I'm not, just because I'm not. Ugh. It's better than school, though. Strangely, all I want to do is sleep.

I'm getting the 6th MR book on the 8th (or so amazon.de tells me), so I guess that'll keep me nice and distracted. But if Max and Fang, like, break up, then I'll be really really really… uh, annoyed.

Um. I did a lot of coding for TwigAdopts this week. I'm recoding the whole stupid thing because the original code and database structure is complete and utter junk. I sure hope that I'll be able to transfer everything properly from the old to the new version…

I've almost freewrote (well, once I freewrite tomorrow) for 6 months. Which means 6 months and 25 days to go, and then I'm done.

That's such a looooooong time.

Hmm. I got 74/76 on my science test. That's good. And a 7 on my German Diktat, which is also good.
I made a platypus pen in CAD/CAM. It's blue and has a beak and a tail and silver/black eyes. I think it's sweet. Sadly it isn't ergonomic. I'll still get a 7 in the class, though; I spend 80% of my time helping people.

I haven't got anything else to say, really.

But would you like to know what put me in this horribly rotten mood?

Someone posted happy birthday to Twig before me, and now I won't be able to post a thread for it on its birthday.

I was so looking forward to it.

Oh well.

Aw, hope you feel better, Ari. (Er, can I call you that?) We don't talk much, but somehow I ended up on your blog....?

As for your anime obsession, I understand what you mean. I loved Ouran for the longest time but I did get bored of it after awhile. Actually, for about a year and a half, my favorite anime/manga has been a show called Case Closed. It's a detective shoe, so if you like stuff that gets you to think, I reccomend it.

You also mentioned you drew a platypus in CAD. I take a CAD course too; are you doing Computer Aided Design? We might be using the same program.

Ah, Ari, I'm sorry about the whole birthday thing. :/ (Both for your sister's birthday and Twig's.)

And zomg, I hope Fang and Max don't break up, too! D: I would hate that. (Yes, I've already read it. XD Just play along with me and pretend like I haven't.)

Case Closed sounds interesting - I'll be sure to look it up.
Yup, Computer Aided Design it is. We only have it for six weeks a year in grades 6-8, but I really like it. Once you get to grade 11, if you choose it as your option, you can make 3D things. Right now, we just use something called "2D Design v2".

If I had read the books, though, I'd say the following: "Maybe you're right and maybe you're wrong. Maybe Max will realize that Iggy's the one for her, and maybe she won't. Maybe Fang will become brainwashed and forget everything, or maybe he won't. Maybe Total and his little girlfriend will have puppies, and maybe they won't. Maybe Gazzy will find out about a new bomb, maybe he won't. Maybe Angel will become more psycho than ever, maybe she won't. Maybe Jeb will die, maybe he won't. Maybe everything will be perfect and everybody happy, and then again, maybe not. The possibilities are endless! "

Well, also keep in mind that I have a wild imagination. At least one of the items on that list won't happen, I guarantee it. ^^

Awesome! That's so cool you can take it in middle school. It's like one of the special courses at my school,because we're partially an engineering school. I really like it, but I haven't gotten the chance to download it on my home computer yet.

We have to take options as of grade 9 and I didn't pick it 'cause I'd've had to have done wood tech, too. But it's fun while we have it.

We're talking about Maximum Ride. They're these books about kids who are 2% bird and can fly.

The book is horrible. JP has made the series too long in my opinion and it's getting wayyyy too predictable.

Yeah, out of hand much . . . haha, well, really, Maximum Ride I wouldn't call out-of-hand. XD But have you ever seen his . . . um . . . Daniel X, I think they were called? But that's another book series for young adults that he wrote, and maaaan. The characters are so powerful, it's just absurd, but at least it's fun to read, and I'm sure it was fun to write!
