Your walking down the school hall with your friends
You see them,
The World stops.
And Speeds up at the same time,
Your insides flutter,
Maybe they'll say hi,
Are they looking at you?
Or just wondering why your staring at them?
You'll never know.
You wish you know though,
What goes on in their brain.
Do they like you?
And more importantly do they really like you,
Do they notice your hair like you notice theirs?
Do they think you have amazing eyes too?
They brush past you.
Probably a good thing.
That way endless babble won't steam out of your lips.
Your heart doesn't care what your head knows though.
Your heart aches and wishes they had stopped to talk,
Your heart is always wishing
Always crushing.
