I was shocked when Adam walked up, but I shouldn't be. He was always there when something was wrong. "Oh, nothing. I'm just going to get a divorce lawyer. Well, I might not need one since he obviously doesn't want anything to do with the kid and me." Sniffing, I took out the crumpled ball note out of my hoodie and flattened it out, smoothing it out against the rock. "He left me a note when I was looking for him. My last time seeing him was when the tornado passed." I told Adam, handing him the note. "Did he tell you anything before he left?" I asked after a pregnant pause.

"Wait, what do you mean, he left?" I asked, shaking my head. I had heard about someone finding a way to get off of the island, but I thought that it was just a rumor. "You mean he's back on Earth?" I asked, my brows furrowed together in confusion, as I stared at the note.

"That's what the note said," I cried. With a sniff, I nodded. "I can't belive he left. He left because I'm having his kid, maybe even kids. He's probebly going to have a great time, get a girlfriend, and have a much better life." I sighed.

I couldn't say the same, I would be happy if I could start over and pretend I never ever went to Brightfield.

She pressed her lips to mine, forcing me to drop my luggage on the ground which caused a loud thump. Without thinking, I put my hands on the sides of her face, behind her hair, and making hte kiss longer.

I held the kiss for another 11 seconds, before pushing back. "Does that prove anything?" I asked, feeling a bit careless, maybe even tipsy.
