TwigWriSum
....How do I make one? Like, with the badges and such? Or is it too late to "enter" now?

Re: TwigWriSum
The badges have a certain code, which you can find on the TwigWriSum thread, I think. :3
You can start at anytime, as long as you stop on August 1st.

It's not too late to enter. Here's a quote from Ari explaining the badge.
This is what background 3 looks like.
This is background 2.

Use the code:
- Code:

The 'total' number is your goal, and 'sofar' is, well, how many words you have so far! Also, you can choose from background 1, 2, or 3 (I'll be adding Cyn's later), so just go ahead and change that to your liking.

Alright, thanks!
So we can edit our goals, if we want to? Like, if we reach 25,000, then can we make a 50,000 badge and put 25,000 words "sofar?"

Re: TwigWriSum
It would probably be better just to say that you surpassed your goal rather than changing it too often. Just because the whole purpose is to struggle to meet your goal, and if the goal just augments with the amount of writing you've done, it kind of takes away the point. XD I'm sure changing it once or twice would be fine, though.

Re: TwigWriSum
Yes, it's the 31st of August. I see Komo (and sort of me, as she quoted me) has provided an explanation, so I don't have much else to say.
However, if you go over your goal, it's best to keep the badge at your original goal - unless, of course, you really want to raise it.
You can always do something like this:

Alright!
Thanks for everyone's help!
I have one more question:
Do poems count?

My friend said that anything besides Cup o' Joe counts: is that right?

Re: TwigWriSum
Do posts on threads like this, comments on stories, and 'what I'm listening to now' count? I don't think so. But I could be wrong.Rai wrote:My friend said that anything besides Cup o' Joe counts: is that right?
Re: TwigWriSum
Blogs are in the Cup o' Joe, so that part does count, but anything else in that section shouldn't be part of TWS. Then there's what Ari said, anything that's a mere comment doesn't count either.
In a condensed version, anything that isn't only a comment and is in one of these sections counts (someone correct me if I added an extra or left something out).
To-Be Published Pieces
Original Works
Semi-Fanfics
Fanfics
Poems
Everything Else
Freewrites
Canines
Felines
Other
Humanoids
School
Groups
Anything Else
Multiple and Other
Private Roleplays
Critiques
Blogs
You can customize your own little plan for TWS if you don't want blogs or other things to count though, like Ari doesn't count blogs or freewrites. (;

You pretty much listed everything, Cyn. :3Cyn431 wrote:Blogs are in the Cup o' Joe, so that part does count, but anything else in that section shouldn't be part of TWS. Then there's what Ari said, anything that's a mere comment doesn't count either.

Yes - as she said, you can choose what you want to count. I only think that original fiction should count, and then I go further and say that my freewriting (which I must do 1k words of every day) doesn't count, either. So basically, I'm only counting my actual stories and roleplaying, which I do very little and when I do I have 1k word posts. xD
Also, in critiques, I think, that even though it's obvious I should point out that it's probably not a good idea to count critiques that you do. xD
