What if I told you I was your reflection?
Or if I was nothing but a deadly infection?
Would you kill yourself, covered in pure red?
Or make it quick, and you wouldn't have bled?

Your veins contain blood, whether red or black.
Your bones are all to the point, that they'll crack.
Your smile is crushed and now fully broken,
Your emotions can no longer be spoken.

I'm nothing but your shattered reflection,
Bringing you down like a cursed infection.
You say you have a heart, but are you serious?
They've said your heart is covered in shadows, quite mysterious.

You think you're just like me, a demon of no worth,
The biggest terror of this world... your birth.
Thinking you're speaking the truth about it all,
Yet, you still haven't taken your own fall.

I am your reflection, and nothing more,
I am the infection you try to ignore.
I turn your heart pitch black and stone-cold,
I replaced your soul, the one I sold.

The only time you will be free,
Is the day you figure to remove me.
But until then, I'll bring you down,
And in your blood, you shall drown.
