Do you guys think it's bad for me to start going anorexic? Because since I'm a gymnast, I can't gain weight or grow because of all the things we need to do. If I grow a couple of inches I'll lose all of my skills. Give me yuor thoughts please.

Yes. It's definitely bad for you. I don't know very much about anorexia, but eating healthy and staying away from most junk foods is certainly better than throwing up after you eat, getting horrible headaches and cramps, and possibly affecting you emotionally. If you want to stay a gymnast, then you shouldn't damage your body. Becoming anorexic would do just that.

Personally, if I weren't in gymnastics, my body wouldn't be damaged still. Even if I went anorexic it wouldn't exactly mak a difference. But we have snacks during our 5 minute break, so I'll probably pack something really light like a few chips. And you should see what I look like, if I don't get thin soon I'll have to go to another size. An adult small! Surprised

Anorexia is terrible. It'll damage you from inside out and eventually kill you. It'll shut down your organs, and eventaually your heart and brain. As Ave said, just cut down on the junk food. And you don't need to be thin to be beautifull. And instead of chips, why don't you pack some fruit? And if you really want to get thinner, don't eat before you sleep. Because they you won't burn off the calories that you just ate (:

Er, I think Lemon and Ave summed it up. I know certain sports like wrestling and gymnastics involve weight, but there are other options besides anorexia. Like changing your diet instead of eliminating it. I like what Lemon said. You should pack fruit instead of chips. It'll give you more energy, it's healthier, and you're still not eating too much. Personally, I reccomend bananas. They're high in Potassium and they taste good x3 Yay Potassium.

You can die from being anorexic. If you're looking to gain, eat healthy food higher in carbs with natural sugars (I think, I'm no diet expert) and if you're looking to lose, just eat a balanced diet and I'm sure you get excersice from gymnastics.

Ok, Becca... Trust me... It's not something you wanna do... I went there once... It hurts like crazy, but it doesn't always help you loose wait... It just makes your stomach shrink down, and then, when you start eating normal again, it screws you up... It makes it so you actually gain MORE weight when you start eating again... I think just dieting helps better...

*gapsp* I care a lot about gymnastics! My coach is telling us to lose weight because we're expected to look thin. Now, I need to blog about a balanced diet, because I don't know diets.
