Becca's Blog- 7.9.10
As many of you know, I want to go anorexic for about a month to lose weight and look prettier. Well, everyone says I should go on a balanced diet. Now, since gymnastics is all about weight and height and skill, what kind of diet should I go on? Don't suggest meat, though. I'm vegetarian.
I NEVER MENTIONED THIS!
I went to the library yesterday! Whoo! I've been reading the crap outta them books.

Well, if you're looking to eat better, you're really gonna want to increase your carbs. My team always has pasta parties the night before a meet because carbs give you tons of energy, but you can burn them off pretty quickly. So, eating pasta is always a good choice.
Salad is pretty good for you, too, and you can always put tons of stuff in it. Spinach leaves are extremely good for you, so if you like them you should add them to your salad. But for both the salad and pasta, actually, most dressings/sauces tend to have a lot of fat (which just canels out your healthy diet...) so you should always read nutrition labels when you buy toppings. ^^ (or just google safe toppings. Or buy non-fat products, though they do tend to be higher in sugar...)
Fruit is always a must! I mentioned on the previous blog that bananas are good, and apples can work as well. Blueberries and pomegranates are also really high in antioxidents, so you may want to try them for a change of pace. Also, you might be intrested in drinking Acai tea. It's proven to slim down your body without actually harming it! (That sounds really perfect, so it probably tastes bad.)
Whew.

You're also a gymnast? I have bananas but...I ate em all. They're super good. Well, with the pasta, does it have meat in it? Because I don't want to eat it if it will have meat in it. I dislike tea a LOT. If I drink it I spit it back out because it tastes so nasty.

Ah? Oh, a vegetarian. I was like "Whatt?!" cuz you didn't say that before xD
I'd follow Newmsie's advice, that's good. Pasta wouldn't have meat in it unless you put it in there. I looooove pasta. If you want to spice it up you can put cheese and stuff, or lasagna, or experiment with different shapes and typesof noodles.

It does? Oh xD I guess I couldn't taste it or don't remember. I've only eaten it once, 2 octobers ago xD
Re: Becca's Blog- 7.9.10
Yush. I might go to Piggly Wiggly when I go to gymnastics *It's right next to the gym* and buy some fruit.
Re: Becca's Blog- 7.9.10
Er, I'm not a gymnast. xD I might've mentioned in a PM to you that flexible was the last word to ever describe me...I'm a runner.
And not all pasta has to have meat in it, actually. Just depends on the. Alfredo isn't made with any meat, for example. (However, it's extremely fattening. Yay milk and butter x3)
You could try something like voldka sauce, or just plain marina sauce (that's just made with tomatoes, I believe.)
