Delilah slowly walked out of her tent, stroking her hair so that it would stop hissing. She never really mind having snakes for her, she always thought it was totally unique. But, sometimes, usually when someone makes fun of it, she wished she had normal hair like everyone else. After her "babies", as she calls them, stopped having a hissing fit, she took a cereal bar out of her pocket, unwraping it slowly and beginning to eat it.

I walked outside into the cool crisp air. There was a girl with hissing hair nearby, so I went over to her. "Hi..."I smiled.

Delilah looked over at the boy who walked up to her. "Hello." she said with a friendly smile. One of her vipers hissed at him, baring its small fangs, slightly dripping clear venom. "No." she said to it, smacking it. It hissed again in annoyance, but then stayed quiet.

"It's fine. really. I don't mind the snakes. I'm Kaleb. And you are?" I grinned sticking my hand out. I was about to turn the flirtacious part of my mind on. That, or I could always hypnotize her into liking me.

"That's a hot name..." I smiled, letting go of her hand. Her snake hair was kind of cool. It felt like I almost found it attractive. But at the same time it was just cool in general. "Are those poisonous?" I joked, grntling touching one snake.

She smiled at the compliment. "A few are, four or five maybe, but they are really sweet, except for Cobra, my favorite, he's a real nasty little guy." Delilah said, petting the biggest one.

Delilah smiled lightly. "Well I'm a pretty friendly person even though for almost my whole life when people saw me they ran screaming or fainted. Probably, because they think I will turn them to stone." she said, rolling her eyes at how people could think that. "I grew up near Boston, but mostly wandered around for three years after my parents kicked me out then I came here to the cirque." Delilah said with a thoughtful look.

"Wow... sounds complicated..." I shrugged. My life was a blur. Loud parties, girls, and getting shipped off by my parents who thought I was a freak and made moeny by putting me in a circus. So I didn't like to talk about it much. "I had a wierd life..."

"What was weird about it?" she asked, raising one of her eyebrows. "Well I know it probably is that you have some freaky ability or something, but I am still a curious person." Delilah said, grinning.

"Well I can hypnotize. And then, everyone found out... and it..." I trailed off in my own thoughts. People pointing and laughing, and snickering. And a doctor trying to make me come and "see him" and my own mom freaking out about how she couldn't have possibly given birth to this "thing" and that it was a mistake at birth. I shook the memeries away. One of the last things I remember was mt ex girlfriend screaming and dumping me.

What do you look like? Alexa is a fairly pretty girl, not drop-dead beautiful, but tolerable to look at. Her curly red hair ends a bit unevenly at her shoulders, generally kept up when preforming, painting, or sketching. In contrast to her vibrantly colored hair, her pale pale skin gives her the appearance of someone who hasn't seen the sun in quite a long time. Over the years her bright blue eyes have grown more sunken and rimmed darkly, giving her a tired, haunted, and almost sinister cast to her face.

How do you act? Alexa is a fairly pleasant person usually, though her untrusting ways tend to repel people nevertheless. She dislikes talking about herself or her past to anyone unless she really likes them. She can be pretty cynical and overly dramatic when in the mood, easily angered or annoyed and quick to grow impatient, though she's generally a fairly optimistic and cheerful person. She fears loosing loved ones, big dogs, and fire.

How freaky are you? Whatever Alexa draws, paints, or writes is brought to life. She has a certain extent of control over what comes alive and over the actual drawings, though she has completely lost control before, and the results were not at all pleasant.
