Alice was asleep, shockingly-- because Alice rarely slept. But today, she was fast asleep, her eyes peacefully closed. Her hair was down, as it usually was, and she wore a pair of pajamas-- which, for her, was a pair of pajama-type shorts that reached her knees, and a T-shirt.

John was sitting cross-legged on the floor beside the bed. A five-subject black notebook layed sprawled across his lap. Around him were what seemed mounds of papers. To put it simply he was copying things down for an easier way to find all of the information.

Alice's eyes slowly fluttered open, and she rubbed her eyes, sitting up, and crawling over to the side where John was. "How long was I asleep?" She asked, her voice sounding tired, as she kissed the top of his head.

John looked up at her and smiled a bit, "Only a few hours, maybe three. No idea truthfully," he laughed. His amber eyes glittered up at her in the most blissful kind of way.

Alice smiled, and slid off of the bed, taking her place at his side. She sat down, her legs crossed 'Indian style'. She rested her head on his shoulder lightly, and sighed blissfully. "John?" She asked, her voice quieting a bit. She bit her lip, "I-- I think I'm pregnant."

John smiled when he felt the pressure of her head against his shoulder. It was a sort of warm feeling that felt like electricity pulsing through the spot her head was. He considered how likely it was really lightning that he barely heard Alice. The oldest Calypso boy sat silently shifting through papers. When he found his voice he eyed her, "What... What makes you believe that?"

(I feel like RPing now )

Alice bit her lip, looking away from his eyes, although he could still feel them watching her. She gently took his head, and pressed his ear against her stomach, "Listen." She told him, her voice quiet. Alice's heartbeat could not be heard, but if you listened closely, a faint and fluttering heartbeat could be picked out.

[YO! *tackles snakey* Jessie, ivy, and Tony? At their house? You start! xD]

(SNAKERS!! *tackles*)

John felt an involuntary shudder roll up his spine. That'd been a little creepy, he'd admit that much. He kept his head there, as if focussing on it to be sure it was still there, "I-I..." he sighed and sat up. "Guess I can't argue with that one."
