I started smiling. "You shouldn't...but I can't be sure." I decided not to lie to her. "If she comes back to you..." I paused. I didn't want to say it. I felt crushed just thinking about it. So I said, "If she come back to you...we'll get through it together." I looked at Sammy and started smiling again. I then looked at Selena and shrugged. I thought to myself, 'Was that the right thing to say?'
