This is a poem I wrote for a magazine awhile ago but I finally am about to send it. I just have to finish editing Meaningless and then I'm sending the poor magazine like 6 poems, three stories, and like 4 pics. xD

Fantasy: None

Maturity: Mean Girls. xD

Writing



My fingers skim the keys,

Barely even glancing at the words appearing on the screen.

I know exactly what it means.

So read it and see if I care if you’re mean.



It tells the story of an average girl

Getting through life day by day.

Her hair must have the perfect curl,

Her clothes must match or she will pay.



She acts without a care

And pretends she’s not afraid.

But they’re standing there

So the scene must be well played.



She laughs at anyone she sees,

Mocking those below her on the totem pole.

They are so nerdy, please.

And don’t they look so dull?



She glances their way.

Did they see it from afar?

She can only pray

That she can become more popular.



Conceited and shallow,

Maybe someday she won’t be the same.

Others won’t think of her as a foe.

She won’t play this vain game.



You can read and snicker

And bid any thoughts of it adieu.

But do you wonder who is her?

If you’re wondering, it is you.
