"Thanks!" Chii said and smiled, ignoring the sharp k-9's. She didn't mind really. She looked, up at Jay again, her icy blue eyes scanning him slightly.

Jay's eyes, that were usually brown, were black right now "I've got to 'er....go..somwhere" he grunted, walking off with a face pace
Jill watched him go and turned back to Chii "Sorry about my brother. He can be alittle wierd around new people" She giggled.

(*is still facepalming* xD)

Chii raised an eyebrow slightly, at Jay's eyes, which where kind-of... creepy. She focused back on Jill. "Don't worry, It's fine." She said quietly.

"Matthew... do you have five bucks?" Charlotte asked her brother as they turned a corner. He looked down at her and nodded. "Yeah, why?" he questioned her, lifting an eyebrow. A grin played on Charlotte's lips as she responded. "Because I wanna get something from Starbucks," she told him. Her brother shook his head, saying, "No, we don't have time."
"Please, Matt?" Charlotte pleaded, tugging on her brother's shirt as she looked up at him. He rolled his eyes, glancing down at her, and then heaved a sigh. "Fine," he muttered. "Come on." They rounded another corner, and there was Starbucks. Matt held the door open for his sister and she murmured a "Thank you", walking in. He closed the door behind them.

"He probably just went to get something to eat down the street. He gets cranky when 'e's hungry" She sighed, telling her the truth but not telling the girl the truth at the same time.
Jay was now sitting on the roof of an allie, watching a gang argue about something. He had his eye on a couple, and waited for the last one to exit the allie, and with that, he pounced. (Hope that wasn't to muchh)

Sixteen year old Alya was sitting inside the starbucks already, sipping on a hot chocolate. Next to her sat one of her favorite books, The Secret Life of Bees, and she occasionly glanced up from the words to watch the people in the store. It was then she noticed the boy and girl, and something about the boy made her stare at him for a moment before looking back down at her book.

Chii nodded. "M'kay." She said, releasing them heam of her skirt. She blinked a few times, her icy eyes tinkling again.

[my sister read that book! lol. xD]

"What do you want?" Matt asked his sister as he reached the counter, looking down at her but realizing she wasn't there. "What the...?" His eyes scanned the building and then he realize she was already sitting down. He rolled his eyes and turned back to the woman behind the counter, saying, "Hey, one strawberry frap, please." It was Charlotte's favorite, he really shouldn't have even had to ask her. As the woman came back with the drink, he grabbed it and made his way over to the table Charlotte had grabbed. It was in the corner, and no one was around them except for a girl at a table close to them. His gaze traveled from the girl to the book, and then back to his sister. "Here you go," he said, handing her the frappacino, and then passing one more glance to the girl at the other table before sitting down across from his sister.

The girl sighed, closing her book and staring at the cieling ever so slightly. She lowered her face, taking a quiet sip from the steaming hot chocolate and rubbed her hands together. It was freezing in there, but she guessed it made since, so that people bought the hot stuff when they came in here. She got the lightest feeling she was being looked at, but didn't dare turn around. Alya was very catious about people around here..for she had heard the rumors.

"So, do you like it here?" Jill asked, smiling lightly.
Jay stood up in the alleyway, wiping his mouth, and then he headed back down the street towards the two girls, hands stuck deep in his pockets. Now his eyes had turned a lighter color, but they were still dark brown.

"Yeah, It's fun.. Kind-of quiet thought.." Chii said, and then saw Jay from the corner of her eye. Once he was closer- she saw his eyes weren't as dark anymore. 'Whoa...' She thought again.

Jill smiled "Just one thing..don't go outside alone okay?" She said. This girl seemed nice..and Jill had more sensitivity then most vampires
Jay was now standing beside his sister "I miss anythin?"

Chii nodded. "Okay." She said quietly. She looked over at Jay and shrugged slightly. "Not much, We talked really." She said, looking at his eyes again, before looking away.

Jay smiled lightly, but it was cut of by a elbow into his rib by his sister

"So, Matt, tomorrow, I was thinking we could drive downtown. I've heard it's really exciting there, and we've been living here for at least a year by now, and we haven't even visited..." Matt listened to the first part of what his sister had to say but stopped after a little while, though she didn't take noticed and kept on talking. He propped his elbow up on the table, resting his chin on it and placing his other hand on his chair. He turned around once more, looking at the girl again. She didn't seem to be a vampire or anything like it. A human, possibly?

(The WB is strong. *serious face* xD)

Chii blinked a few times at the two... and smiled lightly.

"Sooo...we were going to the park. Want to come with us?" Jill asked quietly

The human girl sighed again, finishing her hotchocolate. She waited a minute before getting up and throwing the cup away. Alya smiled, seeing the little stands with items on them, and walked over, glancing them over. She looked out of the corner of her eye and saw the boy..something about him to her just wasn't right..almost not human right.

Chii fixed her skirt and then looked up at Jill and Jay. "Sure, I'd love to. If I wouldn't be any trouble..." She drifted off in her words.

"No, none at all" Jay said, beginging to walk down the sidewalk towards the park area.
Jill smiled "Wow..I don't think he hates you" She giggled, waiting on Chii before walking any further then a few light steps away.

Chii smiled lightly, feeling her cheeks turn pink. She looked at Jill. "He usually hates people?" She said, laughing quietly, and catching up with her.

"You done?" Matt asked his sister. She nodded, so he picked up her cup and walked past the girl, now looking at the stands. He tossed Charlotte's cup into the garbage can, and then turned around, gesturing her to come over so they could leave. She stood up, walking over to him, and then pushed the door open, holding it from her brother. "You coming?" she asked him. Matt nodded, glancing one more time at the girl, his gaze traveling over the building. It stopped at another guy- he could tell by the scent it was a vampire. The guy's eyes looked hungry, and they were focused right on the girl.

Matt turned to Charlotte again, murmuring, "Wait."

Alya sighed and set down a bear after looking at its price, and walked back over her table to pick up her book and bag. She didn't even notice the vampire staring at her, but just slid her book in her bag, slinging it over her shoulder before looking around one more time.

"Yeah. He's not that much of a people-person" Jill shrugged, talking low so that he couldn't hear.
Of course, Jay could hear, he just didn't say anything as he walked a few feet infront of the girls, hands stuck deep in his pockets.

"Oh." Chii said quietly. She hopped in place, fixing her shoe and then running to catch up. "So, Are you and Jay related?" She said to Jill.

"Yup. He's my brother" Jill said with a small smile "You have any siblings?"

Chii shaked her head, her braids shaking slightly. "Nope. I'm an only child." She said quietly.

Matt stuffed his hands in his pockets, making his way over to the girl. He glanced over his shoulder at Charlotte, who was giving him a confused look with a raised eyebrows as she held the door open for him. He shrugged, and then turned back to where he was walking, stopping when he reached the girl who could possibly soon be a vampire's meal. "Uh. Hey. You uh... might want to get out of here," he told her awkwardly in a quiet voice, though he knew the vampire could probably hear. "Soon," he added. "Very soon."
