The Dragon Emporium, Book 1: Secrets to be Told [NEW PART, CLOSE PLEASE!]

Introduction

You wander aimlessly through a dense and dark forest, having no idea where you are, or where you came from. You are tired, thirsty, and hungry. All you remember is picking up a large egg, and then suddenly being chased after by people who call themselves 'The Dragon Slayers'.
Your skin is dirty, along with your clothes. You have been wandering for at least five days, with nothing to do, and no one to talk to. Some have come running away from their families, others just stumble upon the Dragon Emporium on accident, having no idea what so ever what has been going on around you.
The sky is a ghostly gray color, a signal that it would soon begin to start pouring. You looked up at the sky, and sigh, beginning to look for a decent shelter; a cave, or a tree to hide in. You manage to find a large, crystal cave, that could go on for miles and miles into the darkness. You sigh with relief as you step into the dry cave, sitting down a few yards away from the entrance, but also not too close to the darkness. You set the large egg down beside you, tracing the odd patterns that it had on the shell.
Your hand shies away when a large crack begins to form on the side of the smooth egg, holding your hand over your mouth in shock. What was happening? Soon after, a bird-sized dragon hatchling tumbles out of the crack, shaking off a piece of egg shell that it had over its bright eyes.
A dragon? You think to yourself as you hold your hand out to it timidly, Dragons don't exist, everyone in Baradia knows that. There are only myths about the dragons, and nothing more. But you stop yourself, this was a live hatchling, and it was obviously living and breathing. The hatchling watches your hand curiously, wondering what it was for. Instead of letting you pet it, it snapped at you playfully, letting out a squeak of happiness.
You pull your hand away, a hint of a smile coming across your face. "Feisty," You mutter to yourself, finally managing to brush your hand over the hatchling's smooth head. It squeaked, and then disappeared into the darkness of the cave.
"Hey!" You yell, chasing after it.
Finally, you come upon a lighter part of the crystal cave, the tiny little crystals being its only source of light. The hatchling sneezes, emitting a tiny fire ball onto the ground, lighting up off words on the side of the cave wall.

You slide your finger over the dusty words, sneezing. "The Dragon Emporium..." You translate to yourself.

~*~Things You Will Need To Know~*~

1.We live in a land called Baradia, or the Baradian Kingdom

2.The King Grith and Queen Zhana have an army ofDragon Slayers, ready to go out and kill you and your dragon. So watch out for Slayers!

3.The Dragon Emporium (DE) is a top secret facility where dragons can take refuge and breed. The eggs laid are given to people who are willing to defy the Royalty and help dragons.

4. In the DE, you sort out dragon eggs by color, gender, and whether they are marine or land dragons.

5.The UDSA (Underground Dragon Smuggler Association) is run by Nevilus Leech, who caused the disappearance of Lea's mother. Also, the UDSA is the organization that smuggles eggs on onto the streets, where they are killed by Royalty or bought by people who don't know better. The slayers are becoming a growing danger, too!
