Featureds

Well, I've been thinking. Everyone knows who the featured member is because of the red username, but what about the other people? Shouldn't they get a color or something? I know their thread is stickied or whatever, but what if there's someone who doesn't like to roleplay, or read poems? They should still know who the featured person is, I think.

I think that sounds like a good idea. Or maybe Shadow can add a link to the featured threads on the main page somewhere so peoples see it. But you're right, I think all the featured peoples should get credit.

I disagree with this idea.
Their threads are stickied, and it's rewarding their story or RP, and not them. There would be no point in being a featured user, then, because the colored usernames wouldn't mean much. They're supposed to point out a user which has contributed a lot to the community, and while people who have written the stories, poems, and run the RPs are also great, they don't deserve that color.

Ari, I think what she ment is a DIFFERENT color, not like red, but just something that makes them stand out alittle more. And really, doing the RPs, stories, and poems IS contributing to the site community alot, for without them, it wouldn't be much of a site.

I think they should keep the color the way it is - but then again, that's just me. I think that the reward for them is having their thread stickied, and the reward for the users is having their username color changed.
That's just me; if this idea gets implemented, I won't be mad, I simply won't stand up for this idea.

Yep, but in my opinion the profile section isn't much of a reward. As someone who's had a featured poem and been a featured user, I think that both are equal.
It's a fine idea, but I'm gonna keep my opinion.

I agree with Ari, plus there are already too many other username colors.

That's one of my reasons; I have this unexplainable dislike of too many groups. IDK why, but it annoys me.

*rubs imaginary beard* Good thinking . . . perhaps we might make some sort of update to this, but I think Ari also has a point. xD I'll take it up with the mods.

Anyway, we decided that since it's the pieces and not the members who wrote them being featured, things are going to stay as is for now. Thanks for your suggestion, though!
