I was born into this life
I was born without a voice
Had no say in how I lived
And it left me with no choice

So I had to run away
Or else fate would kill me soon
Under this veil of night,
I was spied on by the moon

And so I got away
Still afraid that they would chase
They'd have no trouble finding me
In such an open place

Though emotions get the best
Of how we live & what we say
I can promise you I'll find
A colorful shades of gray

Tell me, would you believe me
If you asked me who I am
And I slightly hesitated
I took the prize and ran

See these sky, it's crying blood
And the clouds are bleeding rain
I didn't know that this could happen
I think I must have gone insane

Maybe I don't quite know
What the future really brings
But I know it's not the day
To ride on jealousy's wings
