He could still hear the voices.

In fact, he could replay the whole scene in his head over and over again if he wanted to. It wasn't even that hard to imagine he was still there; his hands were still bound together and the chain was tightening around his neck just like it was when the guard had pulled him towards the head of the town council. Even now, with his back up against the cold, hard cell wall, it felt like when they had pushed him to his knees in front of the council, when he had fallen hard against the marble flooring of the palace. The fear he felt at the moment was similar to what he felt when they forced him to plead guilty and then sentenced him to death.

And now, locked in the small cell with no one around except for the obviously insane man inside the cell across from his, he couldn't help but regret never cherishing the moments when he actually could breath fresh air. With less than four hours left in his life, he wished he had never done what he did. He knew he hadn't done anything wrong, but to the government, what he had done was considered a crime that was certainly worth punishing with death. He had tried running away; if he had made it, he would be free right now. He would be living outside the town gates and he wouldn't have to worry about pleasing the government every second of life. Too bad that would never happen now.

They would be off with his head before he knew it.

WHAT I NEED: This is a private roleplay, obviously. Just one problem -- I've got no one to do it with. I had a plot idea; it would take place in this realm called Toai. It's got an incredibly strict government and the people in there are basically trapped in there forever. Unless, of course, they try to escape, but they will probably end up failing, like Griffin did. What I was thinking was that some girl could come along and, with her abnormally powerful magic, could possibly free him. They would try to escape together, something like that.

I know I didn't explain it too well. If you want to do it with me, PM me with more information about the plot and Griffin. I just wanted to get this down before I forgot.

Age: 16
Appearence: Long black hair to her theighs.(Family can't afford a hair cut), green eyes, very skinny. You can see the outline of her ribcage. Only has two shirts-a stained white v-neck, and a black camisole. Has a black and white plaid button up coat, which keeps her warm. A pair of ripped jeans and raggedy tennis shoes.
Personality: Kind, sweet. Her family is poor-like most people, but she was raised well.

They threw me into the codl cell roughly, something that's happened before. Nothing new, really. I laced up my shoe, which causeed me to get caught. I'm such a klutz. I slipped from inbtween the bars and started to make a break for it. Thne I saw someone with a chain on their neck. Death sentence. I slipped inbtween the bars and crouched down next to him. "I'll help you-if you help me."

"No you can't. You're too big to fit through the bars. I can. I cna break them for you if just jsut-" I stopped. I cried.

"Everyone hates me." I muttered. "I offer to save your life, and you act like a jerk."

"Because I proved it to you. If I was hearltess, I would have ran right by you without a second glace." I said. I bit my lip and said, "And maybe I think you're hot."

"One second. I ahve to take care of the gaurd." I slid inbetween the bars, found the guard and jumped into the air and kicked him in the jaw. He head flew backwards and hit the wall. He passed out. I came back to pulled the bars open. "Come on." I said.
