Shade fell to her knees, seriously breaking down into tears. "Why couldn't I just live an easier life..?" she whispered sadly.

"Well, you're wrong. Most guys, excluding myself, do it to gain attention, because they like a girl. Others, including me, do it because we're savagely immature." He waggled his eyebrows, taking pride in his state of immaturity.

"I've known that for long enough now, Dude." she began, sighing heavily as she spun around to no longer face him in any matter. "See, this is where I come to plan a deal with you." she allowed herself to re-think of it all, for a long moment, before speaking up once more. "... How's about by the end of this day, I leave you be, and no longer bother you?"

Shade laughed lightly. It was rare to see her in this mood. But when she was in this exact mood, she somewhat enjoyed life and understood it much better. "So um.. what now?" she asked.

Dude looked across the street and saw the icecream truck. "You got any cash?" He asked, feeling around in his pockets.

Ignoring the fact that his hair had partially caught on fire, Dude ran to the burnt truck lying on its' side on the road. He looked through the driving seat window, and a bearded dwarf was inside. Dude reached in to help him, but the little man pushed Dude away, protesting, "Save yourself..."
