Yep, I do. There's the production cost plus the money that create space gets.
ANYWAY,
Today's my Birthday

Awesome!
Is self-publishing easy? I've been looking at it publishing a lot lately and I'm going to the library tomorrow to look at the Literary Writer's Magazine but I don't know if I want the hassle of finding the right agent, working with them, finding the right company, paying all the money, and getting all the rejection! xD

Yep, it's really easy. All you have to do is sign up, then you've just got to upload your work and order a proof copy. Then, you can buy it straight away, and it goes on amazon in a few days
Re: Yes! I got the final(ish) version of my book!
Happy birthday!
Ugh. xD Now I'm debating about whether or not I should self-publish - no, Shadow, no!! You're going to go the hard way until you fail.

Aww, Shadow.
Thanks for the birthday wishes!
I sorta want to publish the normal way, but I have no idea how to xD

Ya I know. Me too Shadz. I don't want all the rejection from the agents and even when you find it, get all the rejection from the publishing companies after that. xP Plus it costs a lot of money too, like hundreds of dollars.

Re: Yes! I got the final(ish) version of my book!
I have a thread about normal publishing, if you wanna read it. XD
Lol, no kidding, Dream. XD I don't think I can afford an agent, though, so I doubt I'm going to look for one unless it's someone that I know personally and won't mind maybe not getting paid a ton.
Normal publishing doesn't cost a thing, though. The only money you pay is for postage. Self-publishing is the one that costs a lot, because you have to pay yourself for every book made.

Just search for Inside the Rainclouds, Jade. It's the first one that comes up.

So far I've earned 11 dollars
Re: Yes! I got the final(ish) version of my book!
It doesn't? XD I was under the impression that you had to pay to get books made, and then you only earn that back if you can sell enough copies.
Re: Yes! I got the final(ish) version of my book!
Nope
I guess maybe on other sites, but here you actually earn money

Well, basically, you sign up. Then you create a "title" and fill in all the information it asks for. Then you can design your own cover, and upload your text, and sutffies. But, you need to register as a parent, becuase you need to be an adult, but the book can still be by you.

Re: Yes! I got the final(ish) version of my book!
You get paid by them transferring the money to the account *bank account* and then.. well, in my case, my mom probably will just pay it to me in real money and keep it in her account.
Re: Yes! I got the final(ish) version of my book!
Okay. XD That's actually really good. So Amazon keeps part of the money, but you get whatever? Like how you're only getting four dollars from each book?
Re: Yes! I got the final(ish) version of my book!
Yup. You would actually get more money, though, if someone ordered off of the CreateSpace estore.
