What the heck? That should be illegal... They just can't do that. *eye twitch*

I bet Bigbird's behind this. He probably dropped his Death Note into the Sesame Street world again. And whoever picked it up used it to kill Cookie Monster, and now this Veggie Impostor is his replacement.

What really ticks me off is the reasoning behind it. They change them because now all of a sudden America's big and mean, and they're blaming themselves for it. So the solution? PRACTICALLY BAN COOKIES AND BE NICE ALL THE TIME.

For Oscar: come on, really? Sure it's not good to talk badly of people. But kids need to know there will be somebody who's a big grouch and will bring them down. Kids need to know they will need to put up with it in their futures. No matter what's done, somebody will be there.

For Cookie: There are things called bad examples. Cookie would be one of them. They could have somebody like Prairie Dawn stick with him whenever he's around and tell the kids to not act like him or something. But they shouldn't totally ban the cookies or whatever! xP

And if none of that was to happen, they could just put a message in the beginning, "Do not idolize any of the characters in this program" or whatever. rolleyes
