NOTE
Descan is a little made-up world I created.
All abused people go there. As you begin to live there, you let your guard down, thinking that life there is better. But it's slowly poisoning you. So, there's a group a rebel children (xD) and they're trying to fight back to the real world.

RULES
>Maturity level should be nice. No long scenes of romance, but keep it nice, and we'll be happy. Some smoking and such, but not a lot is used in this RP

Wind blows down the street, lifting leaves into an ever falling wave of vibrant color. Shivering, you pull your scarf tighter around your neck and burrow into the woolly warmth. Shifting the bag you brought of your pitiful existance that pretty much ended with your running away from the factories that all orphans are sent to the moment they are abandoned. Black and blue... you think miserably. That's all your life really was. Trying your best to be on the good side of the head of the factory business. Suddenly, you catch sight of a figure leaving the factory and heading into an alley. You follow closely behind and as the gates to the alley clang shut, you leap in. Only to realize you're not in London anymore. You're in Descan. What you don't know, however, is that once you're in Descan, where life seems better. It gets worse. Will you stay?

Personality: Has an absolute wariness of people he doesn't really know; seems sarcastic, only as a cover to his history; Cael has a very caring side, however
History: Mother died at birth, his father thought him utterly worthless and abandoned him, taking the money left by Cael's mother to support his large drinking funds; sent him off to a boarding school, but that backfired when he was expelled and then sent to work at the industrious factories in the center of London

Description: Tall and lanky; he's not buff, but he's got muscle. Slightly tan. Chin-length, nice-looking, dirty blonde hair. Deep blue eyes. Normally wears torn jeans and a random t-shirt; he doesn't care much about this stuff.
Personality: Rebellious and flirtatious, although he'll probably calm down once he finds the right girl. Once you manage to get him past all that, he's a really sweet, caring guy. However, he's very protective of himself; bash him, and he bashes you. Worse.
History: His parents were pretty wealthy, but they were control freaks. Eventually they got so sick of his antics that they sent him off.

Description: Slightly short with long, golden blonde hair that she wears up to keep it out of her way. Usually wears hats along with that. Her eyes are blue, and you'd be hard-pressed to find her in anything but sneakers, torn jeans, and a guys' t-shirt.
Personality: She likes boys, but is a tomboy, and tends to have more guy friends than girl friends. Casey is really sweet, but she has a hard shell of sadness around her true self.
History: Her parents were the best in the world, but a driver killed them one day. All she knew is that they never came home.

Description: Clay is normal hiegth, coming about the hieght of 6 feet. His hair is shaggy and comes down to his eyes, but swipping sideways. Its a brown color, with almost a red tint. His eyes are bright blue, and if you look close enough you can see a light circle of brown around the edges. His skin is a light pale color and across the bridge of his nose is a line of freckles. He is slightly muscular, but not to much. He has a faint scar in the shape of a curve above his eyes.
Personality: Clay is a sweet boy deep down, but he can have a rough exterior. He is very protective over his siblings and can get mad very easily sometimes. Clay isn't the type to get jelous, but some times, just sometimes, he will. Clay is smart, but he isn't a genious.
History: Clay and his two younger siblings come from a town somewhere in Arkansaw. There dad died when Clay was 4, which would make his other two siblings 3 and 2 at the time. There mother hated them, said they were just air taking up space in the house. Then she met Jimmy, who she later married two years later. Jimmy was just as abusive to them as thier mother was and gave Clay his scar when he caught Clay trying to run away with the other two.

Personality: Addy is a tom-boy, but she is still interested in boys greatly. She loves to play sports, her favorite being baseball. Addy is alittle smart, she won't admit it but she LOVES Twilight. She can have a temper, and will possibly beat you up.
History: Same as Clay's

He usually wears sneakers, plaid shorts, and a random t-shirt.
Personality: Alex is a pretty sweet boy, but he can be alittle thick headed at times. He loves to skateboard and play soccer, and usually can be found with his sister or brother. He can be alittle bit of a flirt, but only at times.
History: Same as Clay's and Addy's.

Personality: Despite her past, Taren is friendly and outgoing, though she can get sarcastic and almost mean if you talk about her past or get to intrusive. She hates adults, though, and is very impulsive.
History: She and her twin brother, Jessie ( See below! Wink ), grew up with their aunt and abussive, achaholic uncle after their parents died in a car wreck a few weeks after they were born. The twins ran away at the age of nine, though some government workers caught them and put them in the factory.

Clay walked down the street, a baseball cap pulled over his hair. He was wearing a shirt with the sleeves torn off, jeans, and old sneakers. Next to him were his siblings.

Addy walked between her brothers, looking around from under her baseball cap. She was wearing one of Clay's old shirts, shorts, and sneakers.

Alex was walking be with them, his eyes darking around. His hair was spiked as normal, and he was wearing an old Hurley shirt, plaid shorts, and old torn converse.

I was sitting outside the factory, on those worn stone steps that led to the illustrious entrance hall where tours where given. Of course, they never showed the sections where kids like me worked. Only the clean, adult workers section. Taking a pull on my cigar that I had sneaked from the oak box on the desk in the boss' chambers, I glanced upwards at the pale blue sky.

Clay spotted another boy about his age and looked at him for a moment before whispering something to his brother and sister

Addy looked over at him and stuck her hands in her pockets, tilting her head

"Hello!!" Alex called

Addy and Clay both looked at him

"What, its not that nice to stare without atleast saying hello.." He said with a grin.

I glanced downwards, my gaze meeting a sweet-looking kid's face. I waved a hand nonchalantly. " 'Allo." I replied, a slight Italian accent in my voice. I took another pull on my cigar and looked at the boy's supposedly siblings. "And who're you two?"

The three of them walked up to him

"I'm Clay, this is Addy, and he is Alex" Clay said, introducing the three of them "And you are?"

"And could you tell us were we are?" Addy added

"Cael. Cael Monticello if you're nosy enough to want to know my last name." I replied shortly, stubbing my cigar on the stone stairwell. I tossed the butt of the cigar into the plots of dirt that were currently sporting half-dead geraniums.

Clay's facial expression didn't change "Nice to meet you I suposse"

"You know, smoking ruins your lungs" Alex said

I nodded at Clay. Turning to Alex I replied "Aha. Thanks Dr. Obvious." I smiled and stood up, stretching my arms.

Alex rolled his eyes slightly.

"So, where are we exactly?" Clay asked

I took my cap off and ruffled my hair a bit, the sunlight catching the newly dyed streak of neon green in my hair. "You're at the heart of London's industrial center of factories. They make it look like hard-working, well-waged adults work here, when kids, like myself, abandoned and such, are sent here." I answered bitterly, thinking of the night I had left my dad in the middle of one of his drunken rages.

Taren stumbled out of the factory, leaning againts Jessie. Her ears hurt from the constant noise, her head was buzzing, and total exhaustion was threatining to take control.

Jessie wrapped his arm around his sister's shoulders as the big door shut behind them. They sat down on the steps, not far from another group of children around their age.

I glanced over at the two, seemingly alike girls that had come out of the factory. I shrugged at no one in general and opened my bag, taking out another cigar and a lighter casually.
