Tara's inside clenched. If she went there, they would know she wasn't sick. Her arms relaxed and released her stomach. "No. I'm starting to feel better." She lied smoothly, pretending to sigh in relief.
Michael's body relaxed as she revealed that she was better. Now she wouldn't have to suffer. His Tara wouldn't suffer.
Jen tried to catch her breath as she sobbed, but failed. It was almost impossible.
Chiron looked at Hayley. "Actually, wizards and witches are required to help centaurs. That's part of the treaty. And centaurs do things that witches and wizards want."

Michael felt a growl creep up his throat. Did Tara like Travis? He would pummel the twerp if she did.
Jen eventually stopped sobbing, but tears still slipped from her watery eyes.
Chiron glared at the witch. "No, but you would be punished." He said, keeping his cool.
