Greek Gods !!
Rattyjol and Dark Fairytales


Characters (These plot lines I have added are based on Greek history, we don't have to go by them if we don't want to)


Athena -- civilization, wisdom, strength, strategy, craft, justice and skill -- Ratty

Aphrodite -- Goddess of love, lust, beauty, seduction and pleasure -- Ares will fall in love with her but eventually she will fall in love with Hephaestus -- Will have a son named Eros if she has any children -- Symbols are : the dove, apple, scallop shell, and myrtle wreath -- Description: Beautiful (duh) Me

Apollo -- God of music, healing, plague, prophecies, poetry, and archery associated with light, truth and the sun -- Artemis' twin brother and son of Zeus and Leto -- Description: Handsome, beardless youth with long hair -- Symbols are : laurel wreath, bow and quiver, raven, and lyre. (no plot line yet) Ratty

Ares -- God of war, bloodlust, violence, manly courage, and civil order -- Son of Zeua and Hera he will fall in love with Aphrodite but then lose her to Hephaestus -- Description: war, bloodlust, violence, manly courage, and civil order Ratty

Artemis -- Goddess of hunt, wilderness, wild animals, childbirth and plague and associated with the moon -- Daughter of Zeus and Leto, twin sister of Apollo -- young woman dressed in a short knee-length chiton and equipped with a hunting bow and a quiver of arrows -- She has an owl that never leaves her side Me

Demeter -- Goddess of fertility, agriculture, horticulture, grain and harvest -- Daughter of Cronus and Rhea, sister of Zeus, whom she once fell in love with and now has a son Persephone -- Description: mature woman, often crowned and holding sheafs of wheat and a torch Me

Dionysis -- God of wine, parties and festivals, madness, drunkenness and pleasure -- Description: pretty effeminate, long-haired youth -- Me

Hades -- God of the Underworld, death, the dead, and the hidden wealth of the Earth -- Son of Cronus and Rhea, elder brother of Zeus Me

Hephaestus -- God of fire, metalworking, stonemasonry, sculpture and volcanism -- Son of Hera, and will fall in love with Aphrodite -- Description: bearded man holding hammer and tongs Ratty

Hera -- Goddess of marriage, women, childbirth, heirs, kings and empires -- Daughter of Cronus and Rhea, sister of Zeus and will fall in love with Zeus -- beautiful woman wearing a crown and holding a royal, lotus-tipped staff Me

Hermes -- God of travel, messengers, trade, thievery, cunning wiles, language, writing, diplomacy, athletics, and animal husbandry -- Son of Zeus and Maia -- Description: handsome and athletic beardless youth Ratty

Hestia -- Goddess of Hearth and Home -- Ratty

Poseidon -- God of the sea, rivers, floods, droughts, earthquakes and horses -- Son of Cronus and Rhea and Brother to Zeus -- Description: mature man of sturdy build with a dark beard, and holding a trident Me

Zeus -- King of the gods, the ruler of Mount Olympus and the god of the sky, weather, thunder, law, order and fate -- Youngest son of Cronus and Rhea -- Will fall in love with Hera -- regal man, mature with sturdy figure and dark beard Ratty

(I want to pick Aphrodite, but that means you should be Ares and Hephasteus because those are the Gods that she falls in love with... if that's okay)

(Hmm... I have an idea, if you want to do this. We can do a completely new time period, the current time period. They can still be in Olympus and stuff, but they could maybe... be teens? Not adults? Like a new generation of gods and goddesses, but the same gods and goddesses if you understand what I mean)

(Yeah that works =] So who should we start off with? Maybe Aphrodite and Ares? I was thinking they could eventually date, then after a while break up and Aphrodite will fall in love with Hephaestus...if you want to do that)

(Sure...I am going to say that...Aphrodite acts like one of those popular girls at high school that all the guys like.)
Aphrodite I walked down the hall of the large palace on Mount Olympus. It was an old castle made of all stone, yet the inside was completely marble. I stopped at the mirror posted on the wall, and admired my short white gown with cloth white heels and long brown curly hair. I pulled out makeup from my purse and added a thick layer of eyeliner to my face to make my bright green eyes pop. I added some more lipgloss and kept touching up my makeup.

Aphrodite: I turned around with a smile after seeing his face in the mirror. She whipped around, her hair wacking the mirror as she grabbed him and kissed him before saying "Hey" with a flutter of her eyelashes.
