~And Then There Were Seven~

[[Nice. Do you want to start?]]

(I'm really bad at starting these kind of rp's...
Ummm. The only thing I remember from the beginning is that they were talking about wo should go on the trip...)

[[We can start after the captain left and it's just the seven of them, if that makes it easier.]]

(uhh, sure.)

Melissa-

I was shaking. Really shaking, because I was so afraid. How could the only adult split up with us?! We're stranded on a strange island, and he expects us to survive. I blinked to hold the tears in, and tried to get my mind off the thought of being here forever. I walked over to Nathan. "Hey."

Daley- I walked over to Lex. "You ok?" I looked around, curiously.

Lex-

"What do you think?" I was the youngest out of all the people on the island; I wasn't even supposed to be here, and I feel so out of place. I don't know anyone besides Daley. "We need food, water, and shelter. How can we do that?"

Nathan-

I raised my eyebrows at Melissa. "Hey, are you cold? Do you have a fever? It's really hot here." I couldn't understand why she was shaking. If she does have a cold, I don't want to catch it. I took a step back.

Daley- "Well... Only one thing to do. We need a leader. And we need to look around. Use resources. Find them." I said, looking down at him. I noticed Jackson looking around. He wasn't near us.


Jackson- I was looking around. We needed a way to survive. We needed to find those ways.

Nathan -

I realized that Melissa was shaking because she was scared and said, "Oh." I wanted to hug her, but I knew that I couldn't. It wasn't right. Just then I overheard Daley talking to Lex. I turned around to face them. "I'll be the leader."

Daley- I looked over at Nathan. "No... We need someone who know how to lead- and just because you were a boyscout doesn't mean you're the leader." I said, matteroffactly.


Jackson- I turned around, looking at them all.

Nathan-

"Oh, well. Is that what you think? What can you possibly know about survival?" I looked at her- this small, redhead girl that thinks she can lead a group of six others, three of them guys that could take her down in seconds. Except Eric. He's kind of useless. "I know plenty."

Daley- "And I know plenty, too. It's about staying together, and staying alive. Which is why I should be the leader.!" I said. I looked at Lex. "Right?"


Jackson- I kept watching. "They know nothing..." I mumbled so quietly, it was more of a thought.

Nathan-

"Oh, wow. 'We're a team! Stick together! Yahoo!' Woah, you know so much it's amazing. But there's a little more to being a leader than just knowing two obvious things." I looked at Jackson. "Do you have something to say? What are you staring at?" I clenched my fingers into fists.

Daley- I glared at him. "Yes, because you also know so much more than that. 'I'm a boyscout. I can start a fire with sticks!' Wow!" she said, also looking at Jackson.


Jackson- "Yeah. I'm watching how pathetic you are. Neither of you are a good leader." I said, looking at them, hands in my pockets.

Nathan-
"So what do you know, Jackson?" I asked, astonished. Jackson never talks. He always has his headphones, and he's just rocking out by himself. He should really keep his mouth closed.

Jackson- "I know that you both have no idea of what to do." I said, looking at him, and then looking around. I pulled out my pocket knife. "First, we need to build shelter. We'll do that by using things from the plane, and trees, and things around us. We'll split up. Some of us finding things to build with. Other's finding food and water." I looked around at everyone.

Nathan-

I was stunned, but I didn't let it show. "Right. Uh, you carry a pocket knife with you?" I looked at his hand, kind of scared. Everyone knew about his reputation, so I guess it's not the surprising that he has a pocket knife. He's probably ready to kill me if I don't agree with him. He's a freak.

Jackson- "Yeah.! I carry a pocket knife. Yah' know. In case we ever, or I, get into a situation like this. It's useful for when you need to do things. As in build.!" I said, looking at him. "I also carry a lighter! Do you think I'm going to do something, like set you on fire?"

Nathan-

Woah. He was a lot cooler before he opened his mouth. "You're not the leader, because I'm pretty sure people disagree with you. Like me. And maybe Daley. But we can get shelter. I'll go find some big leaves and sticks we can use. Who's coming?" I wasn't sure who I wanted to come with me.

Jackson- I looked at him. "Disagree? I'm probably the best leader you could get. You're to strung up on being a boyscout, and Daley's just too much of a know-it-all." I pointed out, my voice raised a bit.


Daley- "Wha-!? I am not!" I said, looking at him, and then Nathan.

Nathan-

"Someone's modest," I muttered, but loud enough for everyone to hear. "And there are better things to me than being a boyscout. I'm perfect for this."

Daley- "No you're not. I a-" I was cut off by Jackson.


Jackson- "You're not either!"


Daley- "Why don't we just take a vote...? Who thinks I should be leader...?" I waited for people to answer.

Nathan-

"Can we vote for ourselves?" I asked. If not, I wouldn't know what to do. I pretty much hate everyone here.

Melissa-

I whispered, "You're so full of it."

Nathan-

I looked over at her, shocked. "No, I'm not. Someone just answer my question."

Daley- "No! We can't." I said. I rolled my eyes. "So who thinks I should be leader!? Or Nathen...? Or Jackson?"
