~And Then There Were Seven~

Nathan-

"None. I'm voting for Melissa." Melissa looked over at me, confused. "But I hate you all." I walked away.

Daley- "Yeah, we don't like you either. No loss there." I said, watching him walk away. I looked around. "Anyone else?"

Lex-

"I vote for Daley!" I said, walking by her side. "It's kind of obvious that I would though, right?" I asked, blushing.

Daley- "It's ok, Lex." I said, putting my hand on his shoulder.


Jackson- "I'm not voting for anyone..." I said, shrugging.


Eric- "I vote for Jackson..." I said, walking out, hat shading my eyes from the sun, hands in my pockets.

Melissa-

"Definitely Jackson. Taylor..?" But Taylor wasn't there. Taylor was sitting on the sand alone, which was unusual. Something must be wrong.

Jackson- I nodded at Melissa, and while everyone was looking over at Taylor, I walked over by her. "What's up?"

Melissa-

I followed Jackson and went over to Taylor. I heard Jackson say something to her, but she never responded. A single tear fell down her face.

Jackson- "Taylor, what's wrong?" I now asked. I watched as the tear fell.


Daley- I looked over at Taylor, and Jackson, and Melissa. Then at Lex.

Taylor-

"I don't want to be here," I gasped. "How long will we be stuck here?" I stuck my hand into the sand and watched as the grains of sand fell through my fingers.

Jackson- "I don't know... Hopefully not long... But we're stranded on an island..." I said, looking at the ocean, and then at the sand.

Taylor-

"I didn't even want to go on the field trip." I was silent for a few seconds, just looking out to the where the ocean meets the sky. "Are we that bad people? Why would this happen to us?"

Jackson- I shrugged. "I don't know... I guess it's just what happened..." I said, looking over at the plane, and then the rest of the group.

Taylor-

I wanted to sink into the sand and never come back. "I just want to go home." I wished I could run away, but there was nowhere else to go.

Jackson- "I want to go home, too..." I said, shaking my head.

Taylor-

"Where's Eric?" I asked. He's the only person I'm friends with on the island, and I wanted to talk to him.

Jackson- I shrugged. "Somewhere, over voting on who should be the leader. It's between Daley, Nathan, and me... You should probably go vote, too, just to make Daley shut up." I said.


Eric- I wandered around, bored. I just wanted to get off this island, and be back home. I hated this place. Not really liking the people, either.

Taylor-

"Thanks." I got up slowly and brushed the sand off my shirt and pants. "Ew, I hate this." I walked over to the rest of the group. "I vote for Jackson. Come on, Eric."

Daley- I was apalled by everyone choosing Jackson. "I guess you're the leader Jackson..." I looked down at Lex.


Jackson- I stood up. "Great..."


Eric- "Ok." I walked over by Taylor.

Nathan-

"Great...? That's all you have to say? I can't believe we picked a leader who could care less about the whole thing. This is ridiculous."

Taylor-

"I can't believe we're stuck here." I sat down again on the sand and looked at him. "I honestly don't think I can take it."

Daley- "I think we're just not giving Jackson credit. I'm sure he can be a great leader..." I said, almost painfully. "Taylor, I don't think you can take anything..."



Jackson- I looked at them all. "Look, why don't we just start building the shelter, and finding food and water..."


Eric- "Look, I'm not doing any work..." I said, sitting down, and leaning back on my elbows.

Taylor-

"I'm with Eric. I'm so tired." I wanted to fall back onto the sand and sleep, but nobody wants sand in their hair.

Daley- I looked around. "Well, I'll go try to find food and water..."


Jackson- "I'll start with building shelter. I'll need help. We'll use some of the things from the plane. Lex, maybe you could help..."

Melissa-

"I can help build the shelter!" I chirped, walking over to Jackson. Nathan followed and stepped between us for some reason. He said, "Same."

Jackson- I looked at Melissa, and nodded. "Ok." I said, looking at Nathan, now.


Daley- I walked off, looking for food.

Nathan-

"Well, are we just going to stand here? Come on." I have to admit, I was MAD that Jackson got to be the leader. How could that happen? I'm actually trained in this stuff. Jackson is just a criminal.
