I closed my eyes for a second, briefly thinking the prophecy over before I recited it. "Twelve will come, with the bloody will of fighting in their veins; young contenders, will you not yield to the immortals? For what is truly evil itself, cannot be destroyed. What is remembered, is never forgotten."

I stared at her, going over the prophecy in my head. "That sounds..." Chiron started, and I finished his sentence for him. "Bad."
"I agree," Angel said from behind me, and I jumped, turning to glare at him. "Don't do that, you annoyance," I sighed, shaking my head. Glass trotted up behind him, obviously having heard the entire thing, as she was nodding in agreement. "It says 'twelve will come', so does that mean...twelve of us are going on the quest?" I asked, raising an eyebrow, as I turned back to Shelby and Chiron.

"Um, yeah. I kinda got the 'bad' feeling when I heard the lines 'bloody will of fighting in their veins'." I said, shaking my head. My head suddenly dropped. "Twelve? Holy crap. Chiron, is that normal?" I asked.

"That's the opposite of normal," he replied, and I smirked. "I could've figured that on my own," I muttered as Glass stepped up beside me, one arm on my shoulder. "So who's going?" she asked, glancing between Shelby and Chiron.

"Hmmm...." I closed my eyes for a second, thinking. "You, me, Glass, and--no matter how much I don't want this to be true--we'll probably need Angel, too. Hmm. Probably Iris, too. And Heidi and Rebecca. Need their intelligence. Hmmm....Ugh. We'll probably need Forest and Jagger, also. And we'll need Heart. And Rain, too. And.....hmmm, one more person, right? Um."

I listened silently, giving Angel an evil look when she mentioned him, and he smirked at me. I kinda wanted to smack her when she said Forest and Jagger, though... Dang it. "Who else would we possibly need?" I asked, glancing at Angel and Glass. Both of them shrugged.
