I just wrote what I could in ten days, and then divided my total by ten, and then multiplied my quotient by about ninety two to figure out approximately what goal I wanted, which ended up at 250k. You can do that if you want, or just go with something you find reasonable for yourself.

I have a question.

So, if I wrote something in a journal or whatever, and let's say it was 142 words, then I wrote the same exact thing on a computer, would it count for 142 words or 284?

That's up to you. Personally, I sorta edit things when I do that, so I like to count it twice because I feel justified after putting the extra work in. XD If you don't and you'd still like to count yours twice, though, that's fine.
