Not goodbye

The bees pranced in the sky,
Watching the clouds floating by,
The flowers danced in the wind,
Mommy, will we see them again?

We went to the beach with pretty white sand,
We saw the people with a pail in each hand,
We built a castle mighty and strong,
Mommy, will it last long?

We went to Disney Land with Mickey and Pooh,
Mommy, they want to hug you too.
We saw the characters and did the rides,
Mommy, I don't want to say goodbye.

We went to the lake to sit for a while,
It was so good to see her smile,
She played in the water til the day was done,
Mommy, did you have fun?

The doctors said we had to go back,
They needed to see what thing she lacked,
We went back and our family was there,
Mommy, why am I in this chair?

We talked and laughed, and tried not to cry,
We didn't want her to ask us why,
It broke my heart to see her in that bed,
Mommy, aren't we all dead?

Aren't we all dead from the day we are born,
Don't we start dying then, why do we mourn?
God doesn't like to see us so sad,
Why do we do this, it makes Him feel bad.

Mommy, I love you, and want you to know,
That someday I'll see you, in heaven though,
Mommy, just know that you don't have to cry,
this is just "see you later", not a "goodbye"

I don't like it very much, but whatever...

I love it, I always have a sort of connection with sad poems. This s beautiful!
