The Noise ~ My Poem

Maturity - Not much, just about a divorce and fighting.
Fantasy - None.

The Noise

Every night
At 5 till' ten
The noise came back
It wouldn't end.

I'd watch from afar
No one heard my cries
Hoping for an end
Too naive to see through your lies

It started when I was four
Lasted till I was ten
And I thanked god
When it came to an end

Mom and dad
They were like bears
Now daddy's gone
But I don't care

Mom's alone
Money's dropping fast
I tried to help
But we couldn't last

We're getting desperate
Mom's needy
But more than anything
Mommy's greedy

Dad had money
Mom got nicer
Dad thought it was love
But Mom's an enticer

I saw more of dad
Cupid's arrow flung
I tried to warn him
But he was already strung

Love is love
Not for money
Something special
Like sweet honey

Four years past
They're back together
I couldn't stop it
I was at my tether

I knew this would happened
It's love they lack
My trust is shattered
The noise is Back

(Kind of a stupid poem. Oh well, I got bored so I wrote about my parent's divorce Razz

That's... really sad - I'm sorry about your parent's divorce. I love how this poem is written, especially the part:

We're getting desperate
Mom's needy
But more than anything
Mommy's greedy

I don't think it's a stupid poem at all! It's very sad, but wonderfully written. I really like your word choice. I also like how you ended things forebodingly... The part where you said "But mom's an enticer" was really good, too.

Thanks! And I loved that part too. Honestly I was going to upload another poem but then just started writing and made it(after like 1 hour). I liked enticer too, it took me a while to think that part up.
