We find out our seats Wednesday. I'm so nervous! She said I was 3rd chair, but that was before she heard anyone but me. xD

4th chair. Phew. That's good. I don't have to play 1st part. xD

Congrats! Yeah, I usually end up playing the viola parts (because we don't have any violas) or second violins.

Cool, Saddle! ^^ Did you get any interesting songs?
The ones I can remember right now are Sleigh Ride (love it), Apollo's Chariot (love it), Fanfare and Processional of an Old English Carol (or something along those lines), Bugler's Dream (featuring trumpets), and Hallelujah (I don't know if I spelled that right).

Nice! We got one sheet of music for our winter concert. We're playing Carol Of The Bells. I love that song...SaddleClub wrote:Band started. We got all our music for the winter concert.

I've only heard of it from you.
We have a song called Chicago (That Toddlin' Town) and I told the guy next to me that we're not toddlers, so we shouldn't play that song.

Depends. I got some alright stuff. I think I should write a song, for inspiration, but I need my 'personal piano' with me, and also, I need to be alone.

I like to use the bells to find out what notes I'm singing, and write 'em down so I never forget. But eventually, I can remember well enough.

Re: The Band Geeks Club
That's smart! I use my guitar for that. xD It's weird, cus, I feel like I'm way too good at telling when something is out of pitch. So while one of my friends might say my voice is good, I'd be like, "Euuu, no, it was pitchy for this part!" But my guitar's basically always in tune for that reason . . . so I think I can trust it.
Unlike the piano. >.>
I think it's easier for me to actually make songs songs, for that matter, when I try to come up with a chord procession first. Then I can kinda weave the lyrics into the music, and it's a better method for me than writing the lyrics first and the music after.
I don't think I'm much good as a guitarist yet, though. >.> Maybe we should stick Kayleigh on the normal guitar and just let me play chords the whole time. Cus that's basically all I do.
