Luckily, we made it to the common room with no trouble. I walked into the common room first. "Wow! I'm shocked we didn't get in trouble!" I said kind of excited that I broke the rules.

I walked her to the staircase that leads to the girls dormitories. "Alright," I said. "I guess this is good night!" I chuckled.

I walked inside. Only a few steps in, the only light was an eerie green filter from the leaves above.
