The Dragon Emporium [Book 9] [ONE YEAR LATER]

Emily was wandering around through the hallways, humming quietly to herself. She wore a brightly colored hooded jacket, with a white T-shirt, a pair of yellow skinny jeans, and hot pink high tops. On anyone else, it might have looked like they were striving to dress like a clown, but on her it looked good.

Carlos grinned, walking up behind her "Jumper cables!"

Emily jumped at least seven inches off of the ground, "Holy--" She cut herself off, and began to laugh when he gave her the jumper cables. "That- tickles!" Yes, she was still ticklish. She was nineteen years old now, and she still looked the same.

"Wow. First person to laugh when I've done that" He said, grinning as he stood behind her.

"Ahh, stop it stop it, I'm ticklish." Said Emily, her laughing quieting a bit. She turned around, grinning at him, "Hey Carlos." She grinned brightly.

"Heyylo Emily" he said with a grin. He was in a great mood today, and that showed.

"Heyylo Carly," Emily waved, mimicking his voice, and grinning. "What's up?" She asked, clearly in a good mood.

"Nothing really. Just really bored. Where's your friend Asher?" If you listened, very very well, there was a hint of a pousonous tone to his voice when he said Asher's name, but it was barely shown.

Luckily, Emily didn't catch the poisonous tone when he said Asher's name. "Oh, you mean Ash? He's helping his brother get his sunglasses out of the garbage disposal-- don't ask, it's a looong story..." She laughed.

"Oh. Thatssss cool I guess" He said, shrugging his still skinny shoulders.

Emily grabbed him by the shoulders, feeling how skinny they were. "Boy, you seriously need to gain some pounds!" She said, grinning at him.

Carlos laughed. The shirt he was wearing was clinging to him, showing the outline of all his ribs "Hey, not my fault I'm naturally skinny"

Derrick was walking outside, hands stuck in his pockets as he smiled, enjoying the day. He had been alot happier since his and Alice's kiss, and it showed in his expression.

Brixy was, well, lonely. She was sitting down, staring around. She felt like she was the only one who wasn't married and didn't have kids and...She sighed.

"Brix!?" Derrick exclaimed "Is that you?" he was running towards her, smiling widly.

{ like.....28, I think. She was 18, so, plus seven plus one...wait...like 26, 27, IDK! xD}

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" In seconds she was over there and tackling him and hugging him, "OMIGEWDNESS HI!"

Bobby was wandering about, a bored expression on his normally hyperactive features. He yawned, stretched, shrugged, yawned some more.

I giggled and pulled back only slightly. "EEEEEEEEEE!" I just squealed again, beaming at him. "Hi!"
